16:08 Our apologies, we were erroneously informed at the press event that the new model uses an LFP battery pack, when in fact only the smaller Cooper E battery is LFP. The Cooper SE as reviewed here, and now available is Malaysia, has an NMC pack that should be charged to 80%-85% max on a regular basis. My bad. I should do better than this. - Hafriz Shah

I was about to ask you on this since the newly launched in Malaysia is using NMC. First I was happy to know the new ev comes with LFP from this video. Thanks for the clarification

9:29 Ouch! The seat position is so low. It's must be very very uncomfortable.
old f56 is a good buy now super cheap and plasticky mini. barebones metals and plastic that lost its luster and exclusiveness... btw hafriz good presentation and reviews too
@Hafriz Shah can you confirm this is LFP or NMC battery pack? i get to know from Mini malaysia this is a NMC battery!! please do not share wrong information with the public.

Sorry, I've just checked with the local rep again. Yes you are correct, the Cooper SE does use an NMC battery. Only the smaller Cooper S battery is LFP. I was erroneously informed at the press drive.

Emphasized Chinese, China too much. Everything is now almost made/manufactured in China. Focus on reviewing the car. Other than that, always love the reviews.
Old1 looks better tbh
New one looks more clean and feminine design. I prefer the old one more macho looks . Also its horrible to keep pushing EVs only in our face. Looks like time to get a used mini.

Mini has never been a practical choice
People will want a Chinese-made price.
1) Old one looks better. 2) I'll wait for another year for a Chinese made replica at half the price.

@@schrimpf yes it might look new, cools and updated techs to entice new mIni buyers. previous owners who have their mini's will hold or buy 2nd hand F56 and super worthy to buy now

I have both the J01 and the Ora Good Cat. Will let you know how they compares, picking up the J01 next week.
So now it's not made in the UK but made in China. Wow. I'll pass. It's like buying an overpriced Ralph Lauren shirt. It also has ugly aspects to it.
