    Granted, you know the S2k like a brother, but I'm inpressed that even with the first time behind the wheel of this beast, and a few mistakes, you were able to reel in the pack, and hold the lead for a lap. As always, it's fun to watch your skills grow Fenton, thanks for sharing it with us.

    This video singlehandedly reignited my want for an s2000. There is just something about the sound of a high revving boosted f22c and lightning quick mechanical shifts that draws me to the s2000 heavily!

    Try releasing the steering wheel for a second to let it reset itself before grabbing it gently with your fingertips before corners while you're still pointing the car straight just before you enter a braking zone in order to not have the steering rack loaded up before braking & cornering...really helps you build confidence seein how much time you actually have before going through all the motions involved in slowing down to corner plus you get to feel the car in a nuetral state with out being loaded up before cornering

    Feels weird seeing/hearing an S2K only rev to like 7800. Like it’s neutered almost, but I get why. Nice driving that beast for not much seat time! Hell of a car once he gets it tightened up 👍🏾

    The car needs a bit of sorting out but all the important ingredients are there. I'm with you when it comes to the S2K shifter - love the feel but it's way too easy to mis-shift it. This is where I feel a longer shift lever (with slightly longer throw) can help as you can clearly see and feel what gear you're in.

    This is something people don't talk about a lot. The S2k is SO easy to misshift, although the gear box does feel great. I use a really short shifter with a J's racing shift knob and it takes a lot of force to shift, and it's also hard to tell what gear you're in based on just looking, but it really helps with accidentally misshifting because you really have to shift with intention.

    Such a sick build. I'm surprised to see its only 400whp on e85 when S made 433 whp same SOS kit on 93 pump gas much be pulley size. I also had a redline of 8200-8300

    Sorry but did he have the Roll Centre adjusters? is this the different one than the other s2k you drove on the track? amazing build and drive.. the RCA really puts the handling to the next level.

    Also I did toe out at the front (you'll reallgy feel the front turning and its amplified with front neg camber and its really an eeven more amazing feel very very sharp!) to enhance turn in and it does make the car turn easier also even can accelerate earlier too. Really curious as to see what his suspension setup is.

    Consistency is only good for not going slower or faster, you gotta do something different to go faster. Be consistent with getting behind the wheel regularly or exercising… On track you should be trying new things to figure out what works and what doesn’t. Save consistency for your schedule or when you’re the fastest person on the track LoL love the videos tho!

    I don’t think that s2000 was making full power it sounded like belt slip the entire time, with 400hp that thing should have taken out every car there including that mclaren.

    Dang talking about hot lapping a car around a course and especially with A052 that usually fall off after 3rd lap. This is something I do on my sim rig. Lmao

    I bet those IATs were through the roof. A2W setups generally don’t do well with prolonged periods of heavy driving.

    I'd think it needs more spring rate with 295s. even with 255s on 17x10 i feel like i could use more than 16k square

    I think a dyno is needed before claiming horsepower numbers. I always overestimate the power of my mods and tune before I get the actual dyno results.

    Better than stock but more numb than some other S2000's I've reviewed. Not sure if that's due to the ultra wide tire, wisefab kit, or something else.

    Good driving despite not knowing the car that well! It seemed down on power for sure. My supercharged AP1 makes ~370 whp on pump gas and pulls significantly harder than this machine does so...I'd love to check it's tune out 😉 Heat soak can kill power easily especially if the tune pulls timing based on IAT (you want this as a safety measure).

    I was surprised at the numbers as well. I had a sos kit and made 433whp on 93 pump gas. Still a sick car though regardless and I think around 350ish is perfect for the chassis 400 is really pushing it

    I agree, that s2000 isn’t making 400 whp. I have a 04 s2000 with SOS stage 2 supercharger and make around 350 whp. A friend of mine has the manual A90 Supra and of course we played around on track and highway pulls to see how it fairs. And the A90 doesn’t pull or walk from me. Could be possible that car needs a better tune.

    You have to check for belt slip on supercharged s2000s. Gator makes a belt for superchargers

    Pretty bad "evidence" that the s2000 isnt 400whp if your basing it off a car that was underrated from the factory (most are making close to 400whp bone stock) that can make over 500whp with just a downpipe and tune on e50 mix........ zero chance they put all that aero on the car and aren't at bare minimal running a tune....
