Sound-wise I think this is probably one of the best BM videos. Both of those S2000s were hauling ass taking turns flat out at the top of third gear, amazing sounding exhausts YES!

STYLES NELSON I intended to put a 3SGTE into the front, and sometime in the future end up with sequential Twin-turbo pulling 500+hp at the flywheel ... and then I had to stop because I realized A) I didn't have the budget yet and B) I would have turned the s2k rear axle into into scrambled-eggs.

richiesworld1 The iron block can handle higher stress which means it can make more power. Throw in a 2.2 stroker, new cams and a new crank, some other unnamed bits and you practically have a JGTC engine. 3SGTE is a true race engine. They are amazing units.

Incredible driving !

I took my ap2 out for a quick stroll, and when I came back, I was psyched on the car; as prior to taking it out, I was having thoughts on keeping it(nothing serious but as the saying goes "everything has a price"). Mostly stock, except for tires, J's racing oilfilter stopper and Mugen shift knob and for cruising on some turns at the outskirts of town, it handles fantastic even with the original suspension. Such a good car, so yeah I think I'll continue to own mine for the foreseeable future.

Great machines, the both of them!! I prefer the Amuse though :) Any thoughts on the Amuse front spoiler/lip? Would you take that over the OEM AP1 lip?

I wouldn't buy it over OEM. The Amuse lip cracks easily and I'm personally not a fan of the design. Better get an Amuse bumper instead.

Ray DM Thanks for responding Ray. If it cracks easily then it wouldn't be ideal in the long run. I'd like an Amuse bumper but man, the cost is so high usually... Have you seen the Greddy Gracer AP1 lip?

No problem. Look @4:30 you can see the lip has broken in that one race. Yes the Amuse bumpers are expensive but really worth it. I bought a Amuse Legalo bumper and the quality is pretty amazing. Yes I know the Greddy lip. I believe those are more durable than the Amuse one. They look pretty good.

Ray DM Yeah I see how it took damage and cracked... those Legalo bumpers are very nice. Highly priced though. Not that I mind but I have a few other things I want to buy for the car, not just the front bumper right now. Prioritizing a retune and exhaust. I will try to find the GReddy lip for a decent price that can be shipped to South Africa without being too costly. Any suggestions?

I thought about buying the lip for my ap1 but I lowered it and now I would just break it easily.. i am running my stock bumper now with no front lip, it’s literally sitting under my couch lol I do like that amuse lip though

the J's racing s2000 seems to be running at least 1degree less camber in the rear. does anybody have a link/info on the setups? thanks

+brad ley I think they both run around the same camber specs in the rear. The J's Racing S2000 has higher offset wheels so it looks different. My guess is they run somewhere aound -3,5 / -4 degrees of camber in the rear.

brad ley No problem. I wouldn't recommend more than -3 degrees for a S2000 on street tires. Any more and you'd probably lose grip and have massive uneven wear.
