The soprano aria is quite lovely, and in this performance sung by a quite lovely lady with an equally lovely voice. The end chorale is very dear to me, as I sang it myself during an Easter service. I love the organ interludes between the verses.

This has always been one of my favorites, particularly the opening chorus. This is an exemplary performance.

Eine herrliche Aufführung dieser wunderschönen Kantate. Da wird richtig lebendig in einer hervorragenden Qualität musiziert, dass man die Freude in den Gesichtern der Musiker sehen kann. Es ist ein wahrer Genuss, sowohl live damals im September 2019 wie auch jetzt auf dem Bildschirm. Besonders erwähnenswert sind auch die Gesangssolisten aus dem Chor der Bachstiftung St. Gallen.

Auch weniger bekannte Kompositionen von Bach hört man hier in Bestform. Es wird nie langweilig.

Wie schön es ist, eine meiner Lieblingskantate - die eigentlich viel zu selten aufgeführt wird - so auf hohem Niveau singen hören zu dürfen. Ich fand jeden mitwirkenden Künstler TOLL, aber Gänsehaut habe ich bei der Bass-Arie " Sieh meinen Willen an, ich kenne, was ich bin" bei 14:08

What a superb performance! I thought that the video production was outstanding, capturing a certain intimacy between the performers, and of course, all under Rudi's wonderful direction (as usual 😀). I think that the audience agreed with me .

On one hand a beautiful performance, but then the insertion of the musically trivial cadenzas/interludes on the organ in the chorale after every line, in my opion disrupting the musical flow of one of Bach's most beautiful chorales.
