@@arin-berd Bom dia. Os gregos pensavam o mesmo e usavam a palavra "entusiasmo" que é mais ou menos como o "sopro de Deus". Pensava que se Deus existisse, ele era muito grande para importa-se comigo, e o coloquei à prova, como fez o maestro Ralph Carmichael (se puder leia a história). Li também que um de seus nomes seria Emanuel (Deus conosco) e continuei a prová-lo. A seu tempo tenho recebido muitas respostas e vou continuar a perguntar, pois noto que Deus gosta de nos ouvir. Number six, second movement, I like the most! It hits at least my soul very deep. I am speechless listening to this marvelous interpretation; best ever! My statement is not based only on the fact that these musicians (esp. the ladies) look very nice but also because they are very concentrated and good musicians, of course; and it feels like they love to play these outstanding masterpieces. It seems to me, that it is very important that these musicians are very kind to each other; This is influencing the astonishing outcome very much. Thanks so much to Claudio Abbado that he did this wonderful task!!!! I am listening to these concertos since 1973 because my father was a fan of JS Bach although he was a common worker in a factory. He was a paradoxon in his taste for higher art although most of his companions were induldged in the common german mass-country-culture! I followed my father in his extravagant ways and hope that he is a little proud of his poor son who now is in his old age and looks back very thankful to all he got from him! JS Bach I accept somehow like a holy grandfather! I love him very much!!! For me he is the greatest son the germans ever got by the grace of god. I want to point out that Mr. Carmignola is really playing very precise although the tempis of the interpretation seems to be too high for my taste regarding some movements (esp. third concerto third movement). But nevertheless he gets it done in an acrobatic manner; my deep respects Sir!!! I know you were critizised by some silly fault-finders. I cannoot agree to them in any way. The italian backround of this event is outstanding inspiring; one more reason for this big success; Flowers at the end are very nice! Bravo Bravissimo!!! Sorry, I am not able to describe everything what I like regarding this performance, the Cembalist!!! (esp. 5th concerto the long version without shortcuts often used!), the Oboes, the violas!!!, the cellists!!!, the violine-section and and and and all the solists of course!!! Trumpet, Flutes horns, ....... The cembalo-sound is outstanding. I never heard a better one, and he is playing it so well! Everything is well phrased and transparent therefore. And of course the second concerto, third sentence!!! There is no way to do it better!!! JS Bach was very open to new techniques and would have liked the modern trumpets. I am sure! I am happy therefore the dispute over using modern instruments is not so loud these days like it was in the 80ths and 90ths. This was my longest comment on youtube ever; will never happen again!

nice! think that this version is like the original antique. yes, really moves the soul and intellect. dont need to be richer, to appreciate this music...is atemporal, trascendent and one of the glories of Germany to the entire world!

Great comment! Happy to read it! And I also listened to and watched this recording with great pleasure - great! I agree with you that the musicians are very sensual and professional! I really liked the performance! I myself am a professional musician, but not currently practicing, I decided to pause and leave music as a hobby. I fell in love with Bach as a child, since about 1995, while still in music school (he studied piano). Since then, I have never discovered more genius than a composer! Although I understand that there are still many of the same gifted composers of that era. But Bach took a certain place in my heart forever! Magnificent, ingenious composite! I hope you are in good health and continue to enjoy life! All the best!

Fantastic happy performance. These concertos were full of virtuosity and very playful through the ensemble. The musician were having fun as it should be. By the way the performance has the clarity and virtuosity of Abbado. Its his personal stamp. JS is my favorite of the favorists. I'm 65 now at my 14th birthday I have heard all Bach's music even in all version there are this circle is one of the very best. Cheers to all.

Maybe the good die young and surely the great last for ever. I've enjoyed Bach, Mozart, Vivaldi and classical music all of my 60+yrs. l thought Vienna, or maybe Poland, but whence they hale really doesn't matter to me. I very much appreciate the posting of this version particularly. Thank you, whoever you are.

Как я люблю этот концерт. Слушала его десятки раз. Прекрасное исполнение этого оркестра, я бы тоже осыпала их цветами. Интересно, что я не единственная кто хотел бы, чтобы играли чуточку медленнее. Особенно последнюю часть. Но это не так уж важно. Мне кажется эта музыка прославляет красоту Ума, разностороннего, глубокого и постоянно ищущего.

Abbado was responsible for the great playing, the conductor does most of his work in rehearsal. What gets me about this, is that those folks actually get paid to have that much fun. If I could play that good, I would pay just to be part of it.

These comments precisely! In COVID recovery I chose this and was transported. These players - I think I fell in love with each one of them in turn as I watched their interplay. I’m not finished watching yet and I’ve had numerous tears lovingly pulled from untapped reservoirs of joy several times already. May God richly bless these players! I’d forgotten how powerful it is to WATCH musical artistry in performance.

Those musicians are simply amazing. Best of Brandenburger concerto I ever heard before.

Meine Lieblingsfassung dieser unsterblichen Werke!!! Besonders den dritten Satz des ersten und den zweiten und dritten des sechsten Konzerts bevorzuge ich (klar Geschmackssache!). In Bach findet man bereits Ansätze zu Free-Jazz (z. B. ab Minute 9:15). Dave Brubeck, verstorben 2012, sah in Bach bereits das Fundament des Jazz; Stichwort "Basso Continuo". Bach wird meines Erachtens zurecht als der Ausgangspunkt der auf ihn folgenden Musikrichtungen angesehen, ob Wiener Klassik, Romantik, Impressionismus, Expressionismus und Jazz, alles steckt bereits in Bachs Musik drin. Außerdem baut er ja auf den damals vorhandenen Strömungen auf und wird darum von vielen als Mittelpunkt jeder Musik gesehen. Danke J.S. Bach für Dein göttlich inspiriertes Schaffen in Ewigkeit! geniale Kameraführung muss man sagen. Man sieht sehr gut, wie sich die Musiker die Bälle zuwerfen, oder auch wie sie sich gegenseitig inspirieren! Das macht diese Aufführung so anziehend.

This will remain the really most genius performance of all times... And Bach will stay the genius of the millennium... He found also a great interpreter in Jacques Loussier by his modern Play Bach performances... I love them too 👍🏾

Brilliant! Not just perfectly performed but well done. You can feel each note. It is an emotional experience. The way the recorders 'chat' with each other in the third movement of Brandenburg #4 shows the sheer genius of Bach. He was the best ever at doing one thing.

Try the interpretation by Trevor Pinnock. I have the CD Box, and for me its the best one ive heard.

i am 72. i was raised on classical music. it seems that the older i get the more i appreciate it. i also like electric guitar, folk music and brittish renaissance folk music.like fairport convention and its offshutes

Bach reste un génie indépassable par son inventivité, son rythme, son sens des enchainements mélodiques, l'harmonie de son écriture . On a beau connaître par coeur les concertos Brandbourgeois on les écoute toujours avec le même ravissement.

génial Abbado d avoir remis un peu de swing dans Bach si souvent passé à la moulinette ou trop lent et lourd (Karajan) surtout bravo aux musiciens brillants comme le premier cor qui joue et se joue formidablement!!! trés belle interprétation d Abbado quelle perte son départ vers l au delà!!!

The magnificent performance from orchestra von Bologna and the Italian musicians I mistekly understood as the next Bach Violin concerto of a Russian conductor. Excuse me dearest incomparable Italian musicians.

this concert is magnificent, very crisp and clear notes. Brightly played with excellen intonation. The recording is wonderful. Absolutely top flight. I hope this is available on vinyl. Time to go rummaging.
