I got one. Additional work I did was 3D printing two jet pilots to 40mm high, painting the white parts with Humbrol enamel to match the grey paint and engine outlet black and gun metal. Battery I use is 1450 4S 50c lipo, much better and get 3 mins of full throttle flight. The stock motor and esc can take 4s and like the Arrows some are on 4s and the Viper has had 100s of flights on 4s and no problem. Best to use 50c lipos and they are not too warm.

Thanks. I much prefer how these little jets fly without a gyro. I appreciate a well set up gyro with high quality fast, precise servos can transform a model, however IMHO these little jets are better without.

CA on foam may or may not be strong enuf for that joint. If you dont have foam glue, UHU POR from the stationery shop may be a better option…or anything that melts the foam a little so the wing is joined to the fuse as one piece.

I have always found medium CA & activator more than strong enough for these models. Has held up well for many flights.

I have this plane and like it very much. I fly mine on a 4s 1300. I think it is lighter and flies better.

Did you have to trim the ailerons to attach the tip tanks,? Also did your ESC not start beeping on 4s?

ESC was fine without reprogramming on 4s (flight pack got very hot on this setup though). No, my ailerons did not need any trimming to clear the tip tanks.

Is there a version with the frecce tricolori livery?

No it is a hand launch (chuck) and belly land
