यह Treatment Protocol तय करने में मदद करता है।
Staging के लिए TNM Method का उपयोग किया जाता है।
T Tumour के Size को दर्शाता है, यह T0 से T4 तक होता है, इसके Size के आधार पर।
N Tumours की Number को दर्शाता है, N0 (कोई Nodes नहीं), N1 (Regional Nodes), N2 (Mediastinum Nodes Positive) और N3 (Non-Regional Nodes Positive)।
M Metastasis को दर्शाता है, M0 (कोई Spread नहीं) और M2 (Metastasised)।
