Dang, I don't remember this movie at all.. I thought I watched all of them. I think I'm going to re-watch the entire series since it's one of the best animes I've watched for sure.

Ohhh. Is this the reason the Izumi Nass tried to attack Mirai? Because she knows knows sooner or later, Mirai is bound to kill Akihito? Maybe not entirely but a part actually. I’ve learned there are 2 OVA - I’ll be Here Past and I’ll Be Here Future.

no, actually the reason why they are fighting with mirai and with those shadows is the plot of the second movie. The first one (I'll Be Here - Kako-hen) is like a summary of the anime, in the credits there is a small scene that starts the plot of the second movie. The second movie (I'll Be Here - Mirai-hen) shows what happened a few months after the end of Kako-hen.
