The series is incredibly underrated. I think it's a fantastic scifi genre mix with excellent animation and the best anime fight I've ever seen after 20 years of anime that I've already gotten over. Season 3 of Horizon is in my first place in the series, which I expect hot-blooded.

Anyone wonders why it's so hard to shoot down the flying robot first season but they tear them up second season? First season first battle against these robots a bullet the Robot fires is captured and fired back killing it on shot. First Season Japan is rich merchant power but forbidden from buying military grade equipment. Second Season by becoming Mercenaries for England they are allowed to buy any military weapon they want so they now have the bullets the robots fire and thus the robots go from being tough to not that hard to kill. And where one ships fire in season one extremely difficult to block the Japanese ships shields become so powerful they block the fire of a huge number of way bigger battleships firing. The fact that becoming Mercenaries is said quick and most it seams miss what that means. But thanks to the restrictions we get the great underdog fights of season one where the enemy side is also quite limited by the fact they were not expecting to fight much at all and only sent a small force themselves to the area.

I can't speak too much about the other volumes since I haven't gotten there yet, and it is kind of a really late response so maybe you don't care, but essentially the de-militarization of the Musashi was near absolute. It wasn't just weapons, it was in every other way. Where other countries may have access to firearms or cannons, the most that is afforded to the students of Musashi is bows. The Technohexen pair in this video? Not a single spell that could be considered offensive no matter what except for the minimum for crime-fighting. Even their Edel Brocken equipment, the one they magical girl transform with, has had anything that could be somewhat construed to have an offensive use stripped off and banned (though that helps their overall weight which is the only reason, aside from their constant rivalry with others in the postal area of Musashi in races and aerial fights, that they could move as fast as the God of War in this video) Charms or spells? They better be mainly for monster killing and shit. Weapons? Close-range melee weapons and that's all. The Musashi? Is not even that they can't have armaments, Anti-Air equipment for possible defense against pirates is a no go. Many of the people in the class are extremely capable, but they were incredibly hampered in innumerable ways. Besides that, it may also be a factor of which kind of God of War they match later. God of Wars aren't the same, there's light, medium and heavy God of Wars. Beyond even that, the flying kind requires great experience, control and you can essentially be assured to be the aces of their nation if you find one of these in live combat and not just as escorts for things or for training. And as far as I am aware, the one they are fighting here is one of those aces commanding a heavy-type while their only manner of weaponry is accelerated silver and bronze coins. And even then, they had to line up everything together to nail a shot in one of the weakest spots of it's armor.

In my opinion the animation for both seasons are still better than a lot of anime coming out now. And the mecha movement are so good. I can tell it is CG and then they drew over that. It is very impressive. I wish more anime did this with their me ha now. Now it is just all CG which really does not fit a 2d anime.

4年前のコメに返すのももう知ってるかもですが、このロボットは元々艦船護衛の任務に付いてて 人間みたいな小さい目標は想定してない 背後のアレは接近武器ではなく飛行機動用のスラスターみたいな物 追尾機能は世界感として術式と言う物を使って個"人"が行っていてロボットが術式の対象に入ってない 等の理由がいっぱいありました。境ホラは確かにアニメ最初から見てもわからない所多いですからね(^_^;) 私も当時見てて小説読んでない人はどこまで理解出来てるんだろ？とはおもってましたw
いやロボットの方相手がごちゃごちゃ話してる間にとっとと撃てよ。登場人物に合わせて敵が大人しく待ってるとか寒すぎるわ。

dor aventa 実は戦闘用の圧縮言語を使ってるから一瞬だとか、武神側も相手が小さすぎてロック効かないから完全に手動で狙ってる上に他国にも放送されてるから一発で仕留めるために慎重になってるって理由がある

のんびりさん この世界では術式による加護で 攻撃の追尾を可能にするから。 武神は機動殻の制限を受けるので そもそも術式使えないし。

のんびりさん 簡単に言っちゃうと、本来の役割じゃないことを武神側（でっかいロボットの方）はしてる。 戦闘機が仕方なく対地対人をしてると思えばいい。
