Rafita Blue Jennifer has a bigger base here in the states but Shakira has a bigger fan base any part of the word. Shakira numbers are bigger overseas. Like in Europe, Latin America, Asia etc... if Shakira and Jlo would go down to Mexico for two separate events, I can guarantee Shakira would have a much bigger crowd. And she has. She has broken records in Mexico and in all Latin America.

@@requiemforanali Well JLo has target more the American market throughout most of his career. She just recently target Latinos market at an older age. Shakira however started in the latino market which is much larger and became more worldwide cause of it. I even think Shakira is the first women, Latina, musician to have headline both the world cup and the superbowl. So I think that is why there is a difference in recognition among the two women.

I was part of the Field Team members that assembled the stage and later were part of the casted fans. I can tell you that these women were the most athletic people in that stadium. they rehearsed back to back the week before and they never ever missed a beat or step. The US unfortunately for being so diverse is very uneducated when I comes to other cultures. Comparing Shakira's Lebanese culture with a goat meme,they paid more attention on what they were wearing than the significance of the kids on the cages, and the US flag on the outside and the PR flag on the inside "that means something special for JLO and the Puerto Ricans". Some North Americans don't even know the difference between the Puerto Rican flag and the Cuban flag. Most of them said it was the Cuban flag and made a big deal of it. Also they talked about lip singing, for Gods sake 90% of their show were their original voices,anyway,it was a show not a concert. Well a lot of people around the world don't expect them to be educated on anything other than what affect them,then they just talk and criticize before actually do a research for themselves, that's why you can't depend on others,like your government, because you will live inside a bubble for the rest of your life without knowing what is out there.

Colombia in the house!🇨🇴🇨🇴 So proud of our Colombian artist Shakira, not only sings, plays several instruments, write songs, create choreographies, knows different languages and perform excellent shows for different cultures with respect buy she is also a great human being who helps poor kids providing schools and education! In the Super bowl she just gave us a little sample of everything she can do. She plays instruments, sang and danced different rhythms (pop, the arab belly dance, mapale, champeta, cumbia, merengue and salsa). She also takes pride of being Colombian, al the dress and masks on the public were allusive ti our “ Festival de Barranquilla”I am also sure that she has to be part (biggest part) in the whole choreography of the show. I say “ Colombia in the house” because all the JL dancers ( including the kids)who were the amazing are one of the best groups Of salsa dancers (“Swing Latino” ) are from Colombia too!🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴 Just FYI...☺️
