巨大廃墟ウォーターパーク Nature Takes Over Huge Abandoned Water Park [Japan Urbex / 日本の廃墟]

Ойын-сауық

Large abandoned water park located at the north end of one of the biggest cities in Japan. It stayed in business between 1989 to 2006, operating only between June and September. On weekends the usual opening hours, 10am-6pm, extended to midnight. Accounts on the internet by the water park users highlight how the late-night openings invited a rowdy clientele and, due to the illumination system, swarms of insects. These same accounts also claimed that fights between local gangs weren’t unusual. What most internet accounts also recall, even by those who never visited the park, are the adverts aired on local TV featuring, in bubble era fashion, foreign women going down the water slides. These TV commercials can still be watched on KZread.
Although there are several drone videos exploring this site, there is none done like this in the old-fashioned way, on the ground.
