This song is a reminder that I should not "DARE RUN FROM IT, THERE'S NO BOOGEYMAN, IT AIN'T COMIN' TO HURT ME". Like, it's telling me to just START. Just do it. @@zayn-4200 He mentions in the song that he's working on a new album. A few years ago he hinted that his last 3 projects after KOD would be The Offseason, It's A Boy, and The Fall Off. In theory, It's A Boy is his next album. If you Google it, someone can probably explain better than I can.

It's crazy how even now J. Cole feels like he is so underrepresented. He obviously has pushed himself forth to be one of the greats, but its almost like a lot of people still don't give him what he deserves. He is beyond humbled and this gesture is just a gift. If he is reading this (chances are probably not), you are a great inspiration to me. Your albums have carried me through tough times and brought me inner peace on numerous occasions. Much love.

Im 24, i live on my own and i wish i lived with my parents still. I would be saving money and enjoying the rent-free life. Enjoy it. But also prepare yourself for your future, otherwise youll be stuck forever. Appreciate what you have too, coz you could be in my situation. Always remember that grass isnt always greener on the other side. Plus, not owning a house is an issue all of us Gen Z/ millennials face. We are in it together man.
