As a newly Cavs fan, came following Spida, this season after watching all 82 regular season games the first thing I notice was how much he was playing some guys. He definitely had Thibs tendencies, if you notice a lot of injuries were knees, hamstrings, I know some injuries like Garland's could happen at any point, but I said it back in January that he was running some of the guys to the ground. Look at the Knicks, eventually all those minutes catch up, that's why is so important to have more depth Niang isn't it.Also most times he forgot who was seated on the bench, Merrill could have 5 3's one game and next game he wasn't call at all, that is super demoralizing for a player, same a Porter Jr. When Spida, Mobley and Garland were out they got great contributions from the younger guys, and after they came back,they were once again forgotten. The bs minutes at the end of the games, does nothing for development, he was an ok coach but nowhere near the level is needed to win a championship.

Hell yeah, I was upset porter wasn't getting more run, particularly with how much garland was struggling.
Terry Stotts is the complete opposite of JB. Offensive minded and experienced. U pair Stotts with Johnnie Bryant and Dave Joeger as assistants would be awesome for this current roster/soon 2 b changed roster.

You heard some of this in the post games of the playoffs. Levert said something after his big game with that win in Boston. Along the lines of he’s a rhythm guy and needs minutes. And I felt something for the first time about maybe the coach is a limiting factor for this team.
Offense was abysmal at times. Defense was frustrating as well. Idk why we were having our players stunt and recover instead of blitzing.
Smh should have been done last year. Not any good coaches this year. We screwed up man
I don’t understand the confusion from the rest of the NBA & media. If you watched this team for the last 4 years, you know why it was time to part with JB. To ascend to the next level, it needed to be without JB. Appreciate what he did to get us here, I don’t hate the guy. But it was time.
