As you may have already deduced from the comments, many, including myself, consider Angelina to be the best female vocalist of our times and have ever since she won Norway's Got Talent, which she won performing jazz classics. I heartily recommend you look into all of her NGT performances. Since then, she has recorded more than 200 videos chronicling her vocal development with covers (and a few originals) of some of the greatest songs of all time. The story of why she sings barefoot is also extremely touching and points to her incredible humanity. Her fan base (her 'Angels') is extremely loyal. She is now 17, about 6 ft. tall and stunning. AJ is known as the girl with a thousand voices. She has studied and covered many great singers spanning the past century. Her emotional vocal performances started as an infant and span many musical genres. At 17 she is now releasing original material under the Republic lable. She has a large and growing fanbase called Angels who are profoundly touched by her emotional performances. Her first EP called Old Enough was released last month and number 40 of Spotify's top 100. Her full album is coming out soon. Look for Republic to promote her more when she turns 18 and begins to tour worldwide. No Shoes When AJ was very small, she meets a girl on the Steet in a foreign country that was weighing people with a bathroom scale to make money to buy food, the girl did not have shoes, so Angelina took her shoes off and gave them to her. AJ stated she would not wear shoes while performing until ever shoeless child had shoes to wear. AJ has helped raise millions for charity, so she is not just the greatest storytelling signature vocalist in the world, she cares.

@@jonathanfielding7387No. the rights have been sold to Duetti. It is a start up led by former Tidal COO. Duetti is looking to buy catalog rights from independent musicians and then monetize that music with data and social media marketing.

I'm sure I won't be the only one to suggest it, but really... try her cover of "I Put a Spell on You'... from when Angelina was 9. Unbelievable. Then... look at her current stuff. 17, doing her own thing, and doing it very well.

In 2014, she entered at age 7 and won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8. Having immersed myself in this artist for three years now, I can assure you she is well protected by a very close knit family who have always prioritised Angelina’s education and having a normal childhood over everything else. They turned down numerous contract offers until she signed with Republic Records aged 14. Written into her contract was that RR were not to market Angelina until her family gave them the go ahead. Also in the contract was the proviso that Angelina be in full control of her artistic output. She was signed as their Highest Priority Artist. Her recent EP consists of 6 originals where she is also credited as Co Producer. She is mentored at RR by Rob Christie, CEO RR LA Branch..he’s also a two time Grammy winner. You’ve come across her at just the right time, as her education is now finished and she is “Old Enough” to take on the music industry managed by her uncle Michael and with her grandma Mery Zamani and mother Sara Astar never far from her side.

They were right to be worried. She is the total package and easily could have won had she been a contestant. I remember thinking, particularly after watching her on the FIFA awards in all her budding superstar/goddess glory (aka a Supernova), what 17 year old boy would have the temerity to ask her to the prom. ;-)

Angelina Jordan is known as "The Barefoot Princess" or "The Barefoot Princess of Jazz", amongst many other names. She always performs barefooted, whether in front of a live audience or during a studio performance. The story is that while living in the Middle East, at age 6, Angelina came across an orphaned girl, of her own age, sitting in the street, weighing people on a bathroom scale to earn money. Angelina said to herself "I would like to share her life for one second to know what it is like to sit alone, wet, and damp, and barefoot in a corner of the street." Angelina could see the girl's bare feet were scarred and that it was cold outside so she offered her own shoes to the girl. Little Angelina says that she really loved her shoes, as they were very nice and she knew she would miss them. But she saw the other little girl’s need for them which outweighed her own desire to keep them. So she insisted the little girl take them. Angelina called her Princess, even though the girl said she didn't live in a castle, but the ruins of a building next to where she sat. After sharing their hopes and dreams, the little girl said of Angelina's wish to sing for the world, "You will become the one you dream of and when your dreams come true you, have to remember the poor children without shoes; and I will pray for you Angelina.” Later that day 6 y/o Angelina wrote in her diary, "The world is very strange. I hope you’ve had time to review the wealth of information, her fans have left you about her. I listened to your You Say reaction before this one. She has more tools in her music box than can even be imagined. She makes everything she sings her own while at the same time honoring the original artists. Many reactors like to compare her to other top artists. She listens to and covers so many great artists, that yes she picks up and uses some of the techniques she hears. She always puts her own twist on those. She does no mimic. She has sung songs firm many different time periods and genres. Many of her fans are older but more of the younger generations are starting to appreciate her music.
