Yep, that bastard Roosevelt stole the rest of the spool for piano keys.

That design is so refined compared to the first one! Now i kinda feel like a sucker getting the original ahah.

I'm printing a version 1.3 right now, because I prefer the v1.3 stock over the v2.

The new octagonal barrel doesn't have any locking tabs. Is it held in place only by the screw at the end of the barrel?

Yep. The locking tabs only work by rotation which you can’t easily do without removing the fore stock. The original purpose of those tabs was to see if you could get away without the screw - in this case you can’t :p

I am excited to see your updates. 2 questions: Can this be printed on a resin printer? What format do the files come in?

I think stl files check his shop for more details and I think you could make it work for resin printer but you might have to change it up a bit it as it I s made for filament printers

One negative thing I will say about the new center stock is that I basically have to disassemble the entire gun in order to tighten the grip. It used to be a fairly quick operation. After making one pistol with the new design, I'm sticking to the original.

It’s a trade off so I could have a longer stock / grips, the original design was strong but it has a pretty harsh limit on how large the grip can get. I’m making Japanese matchlocks next and because they have no stock typically I’m going back to the old method

Quick question, I just downloaded the files but I am little confused on what to print. If I print the Rival barrel, will I still be able to shoot regular nerf darts?

I wished I had a 3d printer for this :( I would love to have one but have no way to print it....

Please forgive my ignorance if that applies as I ask a question. Is it possible to shoot equally benign, but perishable/biodegradable objects such as marshmallows or popped corn? Please let me know if it is possible but not advisable to open my naive eyes. Great project. Excellent design. I'm not looking forward to retrieving ammo. But if unavoidable perhaps I can hire an enthusiastic retrieval lackey so as not to overuse my old knees.

It’s powered by a little elastic driven sled so roughly any 12.5mm diameter object should work as long as it’s relatively small

Can you do an arquebus? It would be pretty neat.

A: yep, next musket has a k26 in it B: also working on a quick mod to the existing versions that replaces the elastic bands with extension springs, watch this space
