Wow, the amount of expression this tempo allows, it's amazing. Bravo Ivo!
Fascinating interpretation of this magical sonata.
Sublime...❤
This tempo is growing on me. At first, I found it a little dreadful to sit through, but the more I listen, the more I come to like it. Bravo!

I think it’s the original tempo like that
Good !! Hermoso como siempre por Madame Alissa Nicolaievna..Lucía Basilievna..Kniáz Nicolai..y Goga ! Bravo..y todos al Supremo LUDWIG..camino a la Senda de DiOS !!!
Perfect tempo, beautiful singing legato technique
Sometime I saw Pogorelich too dried. What I heard there surpassed all I thought of him. He provoked the vivid curiosity to each note , which I didn't feel in attitude to my favorite interpreters. Astonished. Then want acquaint with whole his heritage
A very romantic interpretation, no doubt.
Lyricism and introspection with gravitas
God damn he makes it sound so lonely and nostalgic.
I love his music.
I think he nailed this very difficult work with great resonance and depth. What a pity that he could not gain greater musicianship as he grew older.

Have some patience for his later style, some of his newer interpretations are unparalleled.

shkedovb the magic of Beethoven is that even at the ridiculously relaxed pace of the opening movement, the poetry of this sublime piece still comes through! If anything, the work's majesty is enhanced by the slow tempo. The runs in the development section of the first movement actually resemble a cadenza!
Magic!
Digitación asombrosa. Absoluta concentración
The second movement of this sonata is definitely very Schubertian
He makes love with every touch...
Прекрасное колдовство!
EXACTLY what Beethoven heard in his mind when he composed this. Thank you, Ivo!
Good music
To anyone who loves this sonata, I suggest listening to Schubert's piano production. There are surprising affinities! (It seems that Beethoven had viewed some musical notes that the Austrian composer had sent him!)
Different, but beautiful version! Every note sings... Definitely not the usual vanilla Beethoven interpretation 🙂
Where was the video recorded?
non avevo mai notato le dita delle sue mani così contratte
He forgot the mit Lebhaftigkeit.

In some ways the second movement could have sustained the slow treatment better than the first movement. With all the sturm and drang of the first movement, the second movement sounds like it's being typed out.
Good
I read at the beginning “con vivacità….” , perhaps Pogorelich can’t understand german or italian
With distant lighting at 3.10 ... - is that Ludwig over there? LOL
I love is decreando very amazing
I think and feel Pogorelich really transmits the true Beethoven but Barenboim convinced me in op. 90 !Amazed by h Pogorelich 'spianism and the delicacy , invention ultimate communicativeness but Barenboim knows and convinces me in this music ! Wonderful in last only 2 movement Sonata .
нај популарни
4:28 I still can’t understand this part that’s why I couldn’t peroform this sonata lol
магично
His hands are just the same, or more so.
техника динамика темпо маестро форевер...
...
Would be perfect if he played the first movement a little faster. Some parts are fast and nice though. Pogorelich is an original.

Music can never be played "too slowly"
