Is Sokolov the reincarnation of Beethoven ? Beethoven became totally deaf in his 30s ?? It would certainly be fitting that Sokolov, now age 74, has been able to play all his life with outstanding hearing, and with such an inner musical ear that his musical performances are so unique, so musically phenomenal with his virtuosity, that it defies analysis. All great musical performers had some previous musical life their entire life. Why would it not be possible Sokolov is the "soul" of LVBeethoven reincarnated in him, Sokolov ??
