This was so Liz’s era I LOVED how much Liz we got. And also leeseo ate her parts uppppp. Once again disappointed that gaeul got no screen time or lines. I feel like we never see her anyway and they never give her styles or hair colors that make her stand out as much as the others so even when she’s on the screen I miss it sometimes bc it’s so fast 😭 idk why I’m still holding my breath but she’s so talented, an amazing dancer who never gets center, a great rapper and a good vocalist too with a unique tone in the group. JUST GIVE HER LINES SHE IS POPULAR ENOUGH FOR PPL TO WANT TO SEE HER MORE!!!

They way these Liz token stans(fake fans) are acting as if like this is first title track that Liz has most lines after Eleven. Guys she had the most lines in the previous two title tracks as well, I am and Either Way. She always had her fair share of lines in title tracks. The only member who continuously get less lines is Gaeul. The line distribution seems pretty fair, wish Gaeul had a proper part but apart from that it’s a solid comeback title.

I think the members are singing thier individual choruses and not as a whole. You can hear the voice change in tone especially during the last chorus with Gaeul and Leeseo but sound like in unison because of the voice filter.

Wonyoung has 19.1sec... I would understand Gaeul since she ONLY had adlips, but Wonyoung had plenty (a lot of Lizs and Yujins lines were just adlips). Added with her center position...she will have enough presence, Gaeul on the other hand...

I read the comments and I noticed that some people were angry that people were criticizing rightfully. Yall, seriously??? Liz - main vocal Yujin - leader, lead vocal, lead dancer Rei - main rapper Wonyoung - center, visual Gaeul - main dancer, lead rapper Leeseo - maknae, visual This is it, I don't think there's anything incomprehensible in members' positions. As for the situation at hand, people have every right to complain. Leeseo is on the visual line with Wonyoung and it's normal for the visual line (unless they're also on the vocal/rap line) to get the least lines. Because they stand out not with vocal/rap but with visual. Visual line gets fewer lines in the song, but their screentime in the MV increases accordingly because of their position. Let me put it this way: Line Distribution: 1- Vocal line 2- Rap line 3- Visual line Choreography Edge Time: 3- Dance line 2- Visual line 1- Vocal line (if they're not also in the dance line) MV Screentime: 1- Visual line 2- Dance line (if there's choreo in the MV) 3- Vocal/Rap line (if they're not also in the visual line) Makes sense, right? Positions in Kpop groups are actually more important than you think. It also helps to ensure the balance of members between the content published for the group. The most complained about issues in the IVE are: 1- "Lead vocal Yujin has more parts and high notes than main vocal Liz!" I mean, yeah. It's really frustrating that they give almost every satisfying high note to Yujin and don't share it between the two of them. I don't think it's surprising that people want to hear some of the hard notes from the main vocal. Also keep in mind, there are people in the fandom who are traumatized by their previous groups (Once's and My's you know what I mean now lol) 2- "Leeseo is given more vocal parts than Rei, the main rapper and 3rd best vocalist in the group!" This is a really fair discussion. She actually has a G4 support like Yujin and her breath control is good too. I think it's not that good to give Leeseo more vocal parts than her. Especially since Leeseo is the worst vocalist of the group. 3- "Main dancer have very little dance break and choreo center parts compared to lead dancer Yujin!" Agree with this too. Okay, Yujin should also take dance break and dance center part, she's in the dance line after all. But pushing the main dancer of the group to the background and almost always gives lead dancer is totally another matter altogether. 4- "Wonyoung is taking too many lines in tts" It varies from song to song, so I'm neutral on this. You're absolutely right about Baddie, Love Dive, After Like and Either Way. But when we look at I Am, Off the Record, Wave and Eleven that's not the case. There seems to be no need to complain about this *for now* (the group has bigger problems mentioned above and after this) But if this increases in the future cbs, then you may be right, but there's no such situation at the moment. These situations were talked about a lot in the previous cbs and I think they are very justified complaints. And now a new one has been added: "Gaeul, the lead rapper, should get more rap parts than Leeseo, the visual." I don't know if you've listened to Heya and Ascendio, but I have. At first I thought people were exaggerating, but they really weren't. Leeseo has even more lines than the vocal line in Ascendio and the lead rapper Gaeul in Heya doesn't have a single rap. This is a problem people. When they started to feature more Leeseo in the last cb, I thought to myself "I hope they don't overdo it in later cbs", but unfortunately I forgot I was talking about Starship. Most of the vocal parts that should have gone to Rei and most of the rap parts that should have gone to Gaeul have been given to Leeseo. Overdosing Leeseowith lines, who already fulfills her duty in the MV screentime and choreo part, will lead to an imbalance between her and the members they should be taking. That's why when companies started to stop giving positions to group members, people were warning that Kpop positions were important. Everyone in the group has a certain responsibility and they work together to create a group image, color and content. That's actually one of the things that makes Kpop special. Positions definitely need to be revalued.

They could've given each member 18-20 seconds but I hope they get more lines in the other songs

Everyone complains about Gaeul's lines (too little) and no rap parts. But Gaeul herself had killed the last chorus well. I even got goosebumps, even though I'm not her fan. She is beautiful. tbh she got all good part that made her stand out.

Cool that they are the best and third best rapper, but they can’t just give one member three adlibs, call it a day and expect everyone to be cool with it. Everyone was going crazy when Kitsch came out, but at least Liz had an actual line there (and has tons of lines in most of the other songs). Gaeul is treated like an afterthought most of the time.
