ITV Schools: The Journey - 30th Anniversary

To celebrate 60 years of ITV Schools and 30 years since we started 'The Journey' of ITV Schools on Channel 4 and S4C, may I present my arrangement of one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever! Thank you Brian Bennett for helping to make my childhood fantastic!
Arrangement of 'The Journey' by Laurence Sanderson, 2017.

Amazing that such a simple piece of music helped create memories that helped define a generation of us who miss their youth. Here’s to the memories guys and gals.

If ITV Schools on Channel 4 was still going stong, they’d probably use this.

I love your compliment but I doubt it! In retrospect, my timing is so off in some parts, it's embarrassing!

That is amazing. The last section past the Spanish section as I call it is sublime 😀

Thank you Phil for your very kind words!! It took a great deal of hard work and was all done by ear!! Not literally but you know what I mean!! You can't beat the final orchestral crescendo blasting out on big speakers until the neighbours complain!! :-D

This is very good - I wouldn't know how to recreate this and I dabble in synths. You got the bass sound spot on. What VSTs were you using?

The full length version was played if the gap between programmes was more than six minutes long.

I used to hate how none of the other kids cared about this bit and all joined in singing on the "just a minute" bit. This was always the far more interesting tune.
