By the way, in the anime they actually still said that the beyblades are Stone Montblonc and Strike Hawk despite the beyblades not looking like the ones from the manga. The good part is that you can create the combos at home easier since Montblonc has 3-80 Needle and Strike Hawk has 4-60 Flat

The reason why they both have wizard arrow at 4:45 is since the anime has a budget, they had to reuse already existing beys for the generic beys unlike the manga which would give them original designs.

Excited to see where the X anime goes from here! probably my favorite part of the episode was that freeze-frame camera thing they did during the DranSword’s extreme dash, that was fantastic! Also whoever is doing that battle music needs a raise. Lol

Audio quality for first X episode is overall on a different level.

Personally I feel like Bird should’ve been the MAIN main character so we can have that underdog trying to “prove” himself plot line, other than that I thought this was amazing.

​@@Keonccyeah it's been stated but it doesn't make any sense. It's Bird's origin story, and he's the leader of Team Persona. We had a similar situation for the first episode of Metal Fusion where the episode starts from Kenta's pov then Gingka is introduced as the main character. But in X, that shift to the mc never happens. The story is still told as if Bird is the mc, not Ekusu.

Its weird how the first episode and the second episode based on the preview are basically one to one with what happens in the manga chapters. Past gen mangas usually had a substantial deviation from what ended up actually happening in the anime.

I was so exited for this I straight up didn't even wait for subs I just torrented it and watched it raw Animation is solid as expected of OLM. The animation will really start to ramp up as the series goes on as shown with Burst. Seiyuus were solid. Saitou Sama(Kurosu Ex) who has played roles like Chigiri in Blue Lock, Doppio in Jojo, and Shuu from Engaged Kiss did a great job imo. His voice is really good for a pretty boy character and you can feel his personality. Use of words like "kimi" shows up Kurosu is pretty polite. Umeda Shuichirou is a pretty young and new Seiyuu but this is is his second main character role this year as he played Akira from Zom 100 and even Yuu from Shikimori. I think his voice is great. Has a bit of main character aura akin to Yoshitsugu Mastuoka. OP and ED are fantastic. Might not be songs Id listen to casually but I won't skip them I'll say that much. lol Given how we are only 4 chapters into the manga and the anime is gonna have 51 episodes its safe to say they're gonna stop adapting manga content probably after episode 2 or 3.

Or the storyline is already there and they'll just be following the main storyline but in their own way

I haven't seen the full episode, but from the clips I've seen, it honestly looks like a downgrade from the manga. I don't like how they basically sucked half of the personality out the character designs. But my biggest complaint is how empty the environments are. The visuals just look kinda unfinished & lifeless.

​@@nobody_2.0Beyblade usually takes a while to start getting crazy. Metal fight took mad long with the 4D system and Burst started getting crazy with the God layer system. Both took 2+ systems to get to that point.

Why is the animation so stiff ? It looks bad compared to everything else .

This anime doesn’t feel like Beyblade at all it feels like a different version of Beyblade feels kinda water down doesn’t have that Beyblade fee to it

Lot of people complaining about the visuals. I personally thought it was great
