I was just in Paris a week ago and what I saw shocked me. Jeans and sneakers everywhere. I packed way too many dressy clothes. Of course, they don't wear ripped jeans (tacky in my opinion). Girls wear tight cropped tops with hip hugging jeans and bare midriffs. The only colors I saw were black, beige, and brown. I did wear my black loafers and they were in style. Converse sneakers are big, but I am too old for that. I walked (Forever) to find the Sezane shop. I have never walked so much in my life. It was worth the trip! Parisians are walkers! Unfortunately, they still smoke. The food is SO good. I love that you don't have processed foods. One thing I really saw trending in the windows was houndstooth. I love it and ended up buying a cute houndstooth news cap. I really didn't need much of a coat and didn't get to wear my cashmere sweater, as the weather was still warm. I think you and me were the only people in Paris with short hair. I know I was the only blonde there. So much for me trying to blend in with the crowd. LOL! I love your videos.

This summer in Texas was brutal. It is still hot, hot, hot. We have one season in Texas, football. Definitely with the heat continuing, whites and creams in clothes feel better. I think that from what the weather gurus are predicting, the hot will turn to cold overnight and some of us will be scrambling to get our wool and heavy cotton sweaters out of mothballs. Love the looks you showed.

I feel our pain. One weather guy said 100 degree days into Nov. Yep, one memorable season blazing hot. I have never sweat like I have this year. It was worse than menopause. I have sweat glands in places I didn't know of.(eyes,scalp). I would love to go back to Paris. Everyone is stylish. Oh,the food. My only complaint is not enough deodorant is worn.. That is my problem because all of Europe is a little stinky. So,sister, even football at 94 degrees isn't joyful!

It is still in 90's in Houston and already oct. I love white and other light colors, but after wearing them for almost 5 months this year, i am tired of them, craving some fall colors. I heard the same thing that one morning in the near future when we wake up, temp will drop 50 degrees and it will be winter.

Still crazy hot in Louisiana too. I’m wearing linen and white after Labor Day because I’d perish otherwise. They had the nerve to say we are having a cold front later this week. It’s dropping to 85. This is why my winter clothes last decades because they rarely get worn.

I love all options, specially that one with scarf and beige coat

I’ve watched Marie-Anne for several months now. I was lucky enough to be in Paris this last week and thoroughly enjoyed watching how the women dressed with the knowledge I gained from the videos. I found a small shop in Paris that sold cashmere sweaters. So for my fall wardrobe I bought a navy blue cardigan sweater where the buttons were also covered in cashmere but in different contrasting colors. It’s that pop of color that Marie-Anne talks about. I can’t wait to wear it. Thank you for the recommendation that I can wear my white and off-white jeans this fall. I’m from Seattle where casual is king so that is a bonus. Merci beaucoup!

I live in the desert in California. It is 95° here October 1. We don’t see the cooler weather until November and then we have it until about May. I wear white pants all year around most of the pants in my closet are cream or white I have white jeans and I have cream colored jeans. I wear light colors because of the desert and the heat.😊

Always good to see you Marie-Anne! I’m so happy it’s fall now. Time to switch out the wardrobe. One of my favorite pieces is a brown, short-sleeved angora cashmere sweater that I got 2nd hand a few years ago. I also have a pair of wider-legged trousers the color of French vanilla. I also tend to wear more charcoal gray than black, and I have some gray trousers; one plain pair and one with teal pinstripes. Can’t wait to wear them! It’s still very warm (and wet!) here in Florida, but hoping it will cool off soon.
