Itchy Boots THE MOVIE: the end of an era

In this film, I finally reach the Arctic Ocean, which marks the end of a journey that took me nearly three years to complete. I look back at some of the most important memories I have on this adventure. Thank you so much for joining me in this journey and I will be back soon again for new adventures, but first.. I need a little break!

At the age of 83, I took many video trips with Itchy Boots. Wonderful, exciting, educational, and most adventurist on her part. Her dialogue and photography were always professional. I thought my motorcycle days were over but riding with Norlay on her journey was a weekly treat. Thank you Norlay/Itchy Boots.

With 3,000 comments already posted, I’m sure countless others have captured the emotions that so many of us feel. This journey has been indescribable - one must witness it for themself to feel it in their spirit. Thank you, Noraly, for this incredible adventure. I know she'll be back but I'll miss my co-worker and I spending many lunches watching her videos and then having lively discussions about what we just watched and how we would never have the courage to do what she's accomplished. Saying I'm proud of you Noraly is not enough, you showed so many of us places we'll never see. And for that this 58 year old will be always grateful. Can't wait to see what's next.

What you have done has impacted so many people's lives around the globe. And, I have to thank Honda for making such a reliable motorcycle. I am utterly AMAZED and IMPRESSED by your perseverance. You had a wonderful dream and you did what most of us never will; you followed it! I've done a few multi-day excursions on my 26ft motorboat thru the canals of the Northeast and Canada, and have seen some terrific things, but now I want to get back to do more. Thank you for your story and for your inspiration.

Thank you Noraly for taking us along on your solo ride, from Patagonia to the Arctic Ocean, and the 18 countries in between. Your thrilling Alaska-bound adventures have showed us stunning sights and sounds that most of us would never have seen or heard during our lifetime. And you did it all with grace, dignity, and beauty. You demonstrated all that is good in the human spirit, and that strangers along the way can be kind, friendly, and helpful. Your fearlessness, curiosity, humor, and positive personality is an inspiration to all travellers, especially those of us who are now homebound. Enjoy your well-earned rest. What I like most about Noraly is that no matter what happens, she laughs her cheerful laugh and enjoys the best parts of what just happened. Whether it's dropping the bike or coming to an unexpected, unpassable river. She laughs, says what a great ride it was, dusts herself off and enjoys the rest of her day. All the rest of us would be yelling at the bike, the road, the map or whatever and missing the fun of what we had just achieved. Great life lesson for me. Thanks Noraly.

Hi Noraly! I'm a latecomer to your channel, found it a few months ago and I just caught up on all your videos from the beginning in India. By far this is the BEST movie I've seen in a really long time. As it was said countless times over many, many videos in previous seasons, you are really the best. Your determination, persistence, joyful nature, skills in riding, photography, videography and storytelling is out of this world and a pleasure to watch and be a part of any journey you take us with you. Every lesson in geography and geology is the highlight of the video. For that I say thank you!!! I'm 51y young and a brand new moto rider (got my permit last year) and I hope I can experience at least some of this beautiful world myself. The parts I can't visit myself I'll be happy to see through your eyes as it is a magical experience too. I'll continue to be a happy member of Itchy Boots army and wait patiently for your every video (still have some catching up to do with the beginning of Season 7, so that keeps me busy these days while waiting for the next episode). Take care, ride safely and I wish you all the best on your current and future rides. Sanja from Serbia
