    Very cool! When you used grey with sunken shadows for land and green for the sea at around 1:36 it was kinda trippy though 😂

    Well, it's debatable Italian peninsula started as one political entity in the 19th century. The Roman's united all the peninsula as single polítical and/or administrative entity that had citizen rights long before the rest of the empire. Italy did exist as an entity

    Great content! I love how you showed it with images! Very well done! Just a thing was incorrect tho: our first capital was Turin even if only for a short period (from 1861 to 1865), as it was the capital of Piedmont-Sardinia as well! Greets from 🇮🇹

    Actually the first capital of Italy was Turin, in Piedmont. Florence became capital only in 1865.

    The first Italian state wasn’t born in 1861. It was in 476 AD under King Odoacer. Then for example in 888 AD there was the Kingdom of Italy after the Carolingian Empire dissolved. Modern Italy was indeed born in 1861 but it was not the first State as this video claims.
