Just some advise: don’t listen to music (which is how ur gonna end up memorizing the song by) since it’s haram and what would be more beneficial is to continue donating, spreading awareness, educating others, promoting pro Palestine videos, etc. That would be better than wasting time listening to a song n memorizing it. Maybe try to read more Quran. Right now as Muslims we should hold right to the deen and start practicing so we can please Allah and therefore he will be pleased w us and grant us victory over the oppressor and making lots of dua..

I love this - gave me goosebumps. My best friend growing up in Australia was Italian and I know what they are like and they are lovely, warm, generous people with big hearts! I am an Australian Lebanese Muslim and we had so much in common with our Italian neighbours - so many shared values and respect for each other. Americans (like me) need also to grasp that defeating fascism is each person's responsibility, and that fascism isn't necessarily foreign. Italians and Germans get that very well, but we in the US learn a simplified version of WWII in which the each nation was either fascist or not, and the sides had already been chosen up. Maybe this would be a good time Americans with immigrant ancestors to see if they (living or dead), and/or their modern descendants, have some insights we could use.

"Equality" is used by right wing nutjobs to mean both "the state of being identical in characteristics, qualities, etc" and point how this is a myth (as if it wasn't obvious how no two people are exactly alike) but also "being deserving of the same rights, freedoms, treatment etc and being equally worthy of dignity". They use the former to argue against the latter. Equality is an ideal every civilized society should strive for, and no, it doesn't mean we pretend everyone is identical in their strengths and weaknesses. Right wingers also love to invoke is-statements based on nature (e.g. "look at nature, it's full of inequalities") to support their ought-visions for society, forgetting that the very essence of human civilization is bending nature and not abiding by the "law" of the jungle.
