Italian Vegetato Camouflage Effectiveness
Italian Vegetato Camouflage Effectiveness
In this video we look at the effectiveness of the current issue camouflage pattern for the Italian Army known as “Vegetato”, in a vegetated Woodland Environment. This video will consist of numerous scenes where each will begin with a concealed stationary position (both with & without the use of vegetation), followed by a movement phase out of the initial position. The purpose of the video is to give the viewer a chance to see the individual camouflage pattern and how it looks and blends into this environment. There will be varying degrees of how much of the uniform will be exposed to the viewer, some scenes will only expose little more than perhaps a boonie hat, while other scenes will have virtually no vegetation covering.
More information about the pattern can be found here:

Vegetato is truely a hidden gem in the camo world.
Italian Vegetato was extremely effective, one the best patterns so far I'm impressed. Sometime this summer you should test German splinter and waffen ss oakleaf.
I'm impressed by such a effectiveness. This camo is awesome.
This camo is insane.
Wow. This pattern blended in much better then I expected. Thanks for the review.
This one is really good. Not too dark and not too light a pattern. Handles transitions when you’re moving from shadow to sunlight really well.
I wear this camo for airsoft in the summer and a fair amount of Autumn, i love it. My area of the U.S alot of people wear flecktarn or the multicam which does work but just from my perspective this seems to work better. It could just be my bias, but i absolutely love this camo. It's effective and i think it's just cool looking as well. So it's a win in my book.
i'm italian i worn that camo for soft air in an area between nothern and central italy that has a vegetation very simila to texas in hot season and only a little bit more greenish during cold season.i confirm, italian esercito/army major state has done a great work in the creation of that camo :) but also the former camos, the yellowish "somalina" 90's seen in sicily and somalia and the old Lagunari camo born in the 30's (used until 70s') were proper for mediterranean and southern and temperates u.s. states, as brent shown formerly in other videos-Brent if u read me:lack only of the more recent Lagunari/san marco camo that one from 80's 90's that was visually the finest ever seen here in italy for troopers, last one to prove over there i suppose
Very interesting video, Brent. Are you planning to review the Italian SF pattern called Vegecam? Basically vegetato with smaller dots and multicam colors. Also, subsequently to 2013 guidelines issued by the Italian MOD, Vegetato BDUs now are pretty different from the one you used and much more practical, with different chest and shoulder pockets, larger use of velcro and zippers, padded waist and so on. Great work by the way!
Best camo that i've never seen... Very good video brent thank you !
I always loved this pattern. The Italians know what they're doing.
ive ordered some a few days ago - found it purely by chance.
Not to dark in shade and not to bright in direct light . Super
Boy did I struggle finding you most of the time !...what an excellent pattern of camo !
Very Impressive camo. Surprised. I just pick up a set. Plus, there is a cool factor involved.
Very impressive. From what I've seen, a fantastic camo pattern if one wants a very good compromise of both effective camo out to distance, as well as effective camo closer in.
this is a great camo pattern
Literally the perfect camo
Great camouflage.
Great job as always Brent.
