Brilliant! I’ve been chipping away at the Passato Prossimo verses the Imperfetto for weeks and thought I was getting nowhere. This quiz cleared everything up and I know way more than I think. 19/20! Pretty happy, thank you Manu!

100%. Years of Spanish makes the imperfect easy to understand. That said it was difficult for me when I first started learning since I had to get over the hurdle of using Passato prossimo where I would have used preterite in Spanish

The descriptions given by teachers like Manu gave me the base to understand, but watching a full season of Suburra: Blood on Rome on Netflix is what really solidified this concept for me. You Romans may be the hardest to understand! But once you're comfortable with the hardest suddenly everyone becomes manageable 😁18/20

Ive noticed that gerund “ing” words being used in the past are imperfetto and that has been helpful. “I was going to the store this morning when I had a chance” “Stavo andando al negozio stamattina quando ne ho avuto la possibilità”

"SONO RIMASTO" totalmente folgorato dalla bellezza del luogo ma anche dalla magia del suo modernismo, dallo scorrere gioioso della vita durante tutto il giorno, dalle sue strade e dai vicoli pieni di sorprese.
