This is an awesome model, seriously that deck lighting just blows my mind. I had been wanting to build an R/C one for years but I don't think I'll ever get to it, I can't sit the way you have to sit while doing this sort of work on a table so regrettably, all that's left is to enjoy the work of others. (No I'm not telling this to get pity, it's just a sad fact of life for me. I was into 1/16 R/C tanks for a minute, but could never do all I wanted to now from my ruined vertebrae although I tried pretty hard. I eventually had to quit before it had been made to function properly).

Ive bought one to R/C, Ive built and R/C the Matchbox/Revell 1/72 scale Flower class Corvette, and it turned out great.

G'day Tony, Outstanding build! I really like the weathering you've done and well above average painting of those little plastic men I hate painting in my aircraft models. Most of mine look like Boris Karloff dipped in acid! I'll be keeping a copy of your excellent video to assist me when I begin my take on the S-100, which I hope to start soon. I'm not really into boat models but I couldn't pass this one up. They were great designs in reality and that shows up well in your model. It's a pity these boats did so much damage when they roamed and hunted around the English Channel and the southern waters of the UK. I've read that the RAF's Coastal Command had a hard time sinking these deadly little boats. They killed hundreds of Allied troops doing a rehearsal for D-Day off one of England's beaches. Still, you've done a terrific model that I'll use as an inspiration, although I won't be attempting the lighting, my old fingers couldn't do work that fiddley. I saw some photos of the S boat in WW2 have a triple barrel 20mm MG 151/20 drilling mounting to improve the anti air defense !😮😅

Did the kit come with the Swastika decal at the bow? I want to replicate this for my build.

About 20 LEDs were used ,They were all purchased online ,There are currently no photos or video left. sorry

Where did you find the information on where to put the lighting? I can see where the normal nav lights would go, but how did you determine the location of the other lights?

Beautiful model, love the weld lines on the skull cap, and all the led light madness, love them ha!, but sorry to nip pick, the engine lights should be filled in

Whats the difference between S 100 and Italeri S 38?
