That’s what we can assume, I think orochimaru will be stronger, we don’t know the full extent to his power in boruto, and im sure he will be a Big Piece in the future in boruto, I know he will somehow get heavily involved wether being a villain again or just helping Out the Leaf. And he can also get stronger to, I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets his hands on a karma soon or maybe he already has one EDIT: And orchimaru is just that type of guy, He wouldn’t mind helping the leaf if they let him experiment freely, and he’s very slick to you think all those years he wasn’t trying to learn new jutsu and to gain new power? I’m sure he’s already examined on an otsutsuki It is very likely he has a karma just saying the likelihood is very high, he probably created some new Jutsu for himself along the way also, and in th timeskip the whole leaf is destroyed so who is to keep watch on orochimaru? Yes, but no matter how much stronger Orochimaru can be than Itachi, Itachi can just use tsyokomi and seal. Itachi is basically a god, he can beat goku, not on strength but with his tsyokomi he can win any fight.

In fact, 99% of the ninja in the naruto world would not be able to do anything against it. And the remaining 1% are owners of all sorts of rinnegans, 9-tailed beasts, etc. close to the gods. (and then the outcome of the battle would be in question). So, no matter what you say, Orochimaru was quite consciously limited and "nerfed" with the help of moronic plot twists and all sorts of "deus machine" like itachi's sword.

hiruzen is confirmed to be stronger then all other alive kages at the time that includes raikage perfect jinchuriki yagura (i think that was his name) and orochimaru fought him on equal footing while holding back yes orochimaru is confirmed to have been holding back against hiruzen he was litterally crying so i really think people sleep on orochimaru his 8 head hydra form is also sleeped upon when it apeared and when he looked at itachis susano he was confident he could win so in terms of destructive power he might be combarable to itachis susano only reason he got one shotted was because of the totksa blade which he had no way of knowing

Hiruzen is confirmed nothing. The guy is complete fodder. Him being the strongest Hokage was mentioned only in the beginning, but then retconned later. It is Harishama who later was established as God of Shinobi and the strongest Kage.

@@shdhdhhdhdh3862 no hashirama is the strongest (before naruto became hokage) but hiruzen is pretty strong so orochimaru is also strong if he had learnt sage mode before then he would defeat itachi. but he got white zetsu's body so I think he will absorb a mitsuki in future and have sage mode, he has edo-tensei also so I can safely conclude that oro in boruto (without senin-mode) can defeat Itachi (not easily), but with sage mode he can defeat him easily

@@user-fc7cf3ew1d idk about you but ever since Naruto series, Orochimaru learned from his mistakes and became much stronger than his previous versions. 1. Izanami- he'll let a reanimated ninja become a decoy. 2. Totsuka Blade- even other slow jutsus are massively faster than this. Orochimaru casually avoids this as he already knows what's gonna happen if he touches it. 3. Yata Mirror- every Naruto fan would know the weakness is its backside. 4. Amaterasu- current Orochimaru can easily outrun it. 5. Tsukuyomi- he'd instead look at his feet while fighting or eyes closed. Pretty sure Orochimaru now has the perfect counters to Itachi's prowess especially his Genjutsu.

@@user-fc7cf3ew1d if you say so I guess. But Orochimaru dodging Totsuka easily remains the same as well as Amaterasu. Tsukuyomi, Izanami, Izanagi would be the only problems he has to face. Yata Armor is dependant whether it is now a walking Susanoo or not. Imperfect Susanoo can still give Orochimaru a run for his money. Orochimaru's only chance is if Totsuka misses. Also, Totsuka didn't speed blitz Nagato but rather snuck up on him if I recall the episode so it wasn't a speed blitz rather a surprise attack which debunks Totsuka being a fast jutsu.

like hell itachi won't win against orochimaru with former hokage edotensei. just dont edo hashirama, and he can fully control 2nd, 3rd and 4th. His body is also perfect due to zetsu's full hashirama cell
