Even kurenai was very talented and expert in genjutsu. To consider the fact she had put Itachi well as kisame under her genjutsu is not an child's play. Itachi himself recognised her abilities. Itachi had to fall for her genjutsu in order to repel that. In a battle one has to put up their special abilities and that's what kurenai did. Just don't underestimate her abilities. It's just that Itachi was in whole different level.

Team 7 and Team 8 have different sets of purpose. Team 8 is mainly used for reconnaissance, rescue and surveillance. You don't see them in the front line directly taking ambush or kills. Majority of the episodes from Naruto to Naruto Shippuden team 8 is used to survey and gather information. Or to check the area for potential ambush and attacks before another team sets in. Team 7 however is used for forefront attacks and battles. Notice there are certain episodes where team 8 and team 7 gets combined because team 7 highly specializes in attack, defend and retrieve situations. So I think comparing team 7 and Team 8 is like comparing apples and oranges, lions from Eagles. Etc.. Both are strong and equipped in their own ways. 🙏

Yeah he was dominating most of the fight, but even without the fart, kiba was losing chakra and stamina fast and would have given out before Naruto was finished.

Shino is slept on, it’s kind of hard to argue that he couldn’t solo team Kakashi at multiple points in the show. He probably put bugs on them at 5 as a contingency plan.

Sakura solo beat team 8 easily

Team Kurenai is underrated. They were the first to complete the chunin survival test. Moreover, Shino was a badass at that time. There's literally no fight Shino lost. Even in the war arc, Shino saved the whole world from poisonous insects.

It's true that Shino was quite strong, but if you thought even Shino from academy would have beaten Sasuke at academy then you are underestimating Sasuke. Sasuke is a genius and Shino is an ordinary shinobi. Shino uses worms and Sasuke uses katon goukakyuu no jutsu and the fight is over. I do not underestimate Shino but against Sasuke he has no chance

Obito, who was basically sand at that point.

I really hate it when they compare Sakura to Lee. I mean it's pretty obvious lee is good CONSIDERING he had someone who taught him and trained him qhile he was quite young. While sakura over here only started developing rapidly when she was under the tutlege of Tsunade. Kakashi barely even taught her anything other than tree wallking.
