I never forget when i realised that kakashi wasnt late cause he dont care or was reading his books or was doing anything really. Every time he is late is cause he is standing infront on that memorial stone or the at graveyard, mourning his friends and loved ones. He is still mouring after all these years and never been able to properly deal with it. His life is truly sad😢
