Yeah, for the quick note about uchihas, all of them can have the sharingan, it's in their blood, but they have to train to unlock it, that's why the one getting the sharingan are the one training to become shinobi, also the clan lives outside the village. The story of the uchihas and especially Itachi is a wild train.

A wild Itachi appears. Kakashi: Don't look at his eyes!!!!!! Guy: focus on his feet it's the only way you can hope to fight him!!! Jiraiya: Stares Itachi in the eyes and Itachi retreats.

Kisame: They don't know how lucky they are... Itachi(in his mind): Bish just stfu and run! There's a reason why he's called "The Beast of Konoha"!

Welcome back!! Been looking forward to this for a while! 😁 Everyone Itachi killed was from the Uchiha clan but not everyone in the Uchiha clan awakens the Sharingan. It takes special circumstances, as well as natural affinity for it.

Naruto is such a strong character for not showing his anguish and insecurities over not having a family that the few times we DO see the cracks, we want to sob because he’s just a kid dealing with this immense pain!

we never really get an exact number on how many people live in a clan but people really underestimate it a lot. the uchiha had an entire district within their village, it was virtually a smaller village within the village. Itachi killed a TON of people

Glad you're back and reacting too this. I started my Naruto journey around 2021 in my early 30s. Watching you react is like seeing it for the first time all over again. Also knowing the answers to your questions and thinking "just keep watching, you'll get your answers".

59:18 you just described Goku That is exactly how Goku learned most of his moves in OG DB, Master Roshi used the Kamehameha once to blow away a fire plaguing the Ox-King's castle Roshi said it took him 50 years to develop and master that technique Goku immediately replicated it and fired it at a car tire or something for practice, but it was much weaker He then continued to do so during certain moments of the following arc(s) until he'd "mastered" it by the time he got into a real fight (in the first martial arts tournament he participated in iirc) He had alot of "monkey see monkey do" moments like that throughout the series-- but I think it happened less after the OG series

Itachi was leading the anbu black ops at 13. He's older than 13 there, and with even sharper skills (he never stops improving). Uchiha clan was known to be exceptionally skilled - their clan name struck fear in the shinobi world - but Itachi was a genius ninja even intra-clan. They were just completely outmatched versus the sneak attack from Itachi.

Sharingan is ability that is mostly used for battles, it's unclear if every member of Uchiha clan possessed Sharingan, but every clan member could awaken it as they all had Sharingan gene (Kekkei Genkai). Generally speaking, it is assumed that every Uchiha awakened Sharingan at some point in their life. And like i talked before, Itachi's Mangekyo Sharingan wasn't yet shown in the manga, so every time he does it in the anime they shouldn't have showed his eyes if they wanted to be closer to how manga was depicting it at the time.

YOU'RE BACK! I got so excited to see you back. RIP my legend. He inspired us all. But you're so right about their training being like this at this point. Sasuke has flashbacks while Naruto is just chilling. For now. Naruto is so sweet. He doesn't know how to comfort people (which is even sadder when you realize he didn't learn it because no one did that for him) but he knows ramen and the people at the shop have cheered him up over the years, so he shares that with his little adopted bro. He's also so thoughtful of him. I feel bad for Sasuke though. Everyone besides Sakura picks his brother before him. Even his brother is looking for Naruto, not to mention, Ino and the other girls only liked him for his looks and mystery aura. Sakura also does, but then she really gets to know him. She's seen him at his worst, best and in between and still likes him for him and accepts all his sides. I love that we got his full story so we can also understand him more. He was just a regular kid and his brother just ended up being gifted. It's not his fault and he works super hard to be so intelligent and able himself. I always get sad that older couple he talks to often gets x-ed. They were so kind to him. And you see how that impacts him. But yeah, you wouldn't suspect your older sibling either. And his dad did let him be x-ed, otherwise there would have been an intersting fight. You'll learn more about what happened that night later on. Just for reference, the Uchiha clan all had the same eyes, so clearly they've been inbreeding. It's just sad that he kept showing Sasuke that just so he'd come after hm. Lee and Guy are two of my all time favorites as well. Basically they're two everyone can agree on in this community. When you get done you should look up the Kishimoto's thoughts on Lee. Guy is literally like, two high level enemies? On my own? Bet. Say what you want to about his weirdness, but Jiraya does notice what Naruto wanted and did show up for him later. He's just balancing being an informat with a mentor position. Tsunade is great so I'm excited to see more. Glad you're back!
