    I'm 53, and have been a MTB rider for 25 years. I've been doing a lot of things wrong, and really enjoy these videos as a way to re-educate myself. Hitting berms and linking turns are among the skills I need to learn and improve on. Thanks for the valuable video!

    I'm 37 and haven't biked since I was 18 on a Norco Saquatch...picked up the polygon T8 (should arrive today) and Im here for education that just didn't exist 20 years ago. So thanks!

    Very good video. I’ve done this for about three years and now 68 and shredding better than ever (riding in the woods since 1961…). Strongly recommend this way of thinking for the majority of us 🎉

    Oh man, that knee tear clip is brutal, im literally feels it. (17 years ago im also destroyed my right knee, and yeah very stupid way)

    It isn’t fun I’ve learned a ton more about recovering. I was non weight bearing for 12 weeks after surgery. Brutal recovery. Still can’t remember how to do some things. It’s funny!

    As a 40 year old dad this is exactly what i need! I'm not the slowest because i learned riding mtbs pretty early in my life but after a long hiatus i know that there are some Basics i never developed perfectly! Thank you! Just a small crticism - your son should where a helmet always, espacially when he is in a YT-Video. 🙂

    Before you offer advice do a deep dive into bike helmets. Am I correct in assuming you have never read any of the scientific or research literature pertaining to bicycle helmets?

    Are you asking me? Yeah I’ve read a handful of white papers on helmets and also checked out other studies around Leatt braces. Which doesn’t matter. Wear a helmet. Use your brain lol. That’s my stance.

    Never thought about in terms of a lateral pump like that. I learned that principle decades ago on a skateboard, but never tried it on an MTB.

    I was playing around the other day on the parking lot and was playing with the concept of turning and pumping,... like you showed in this video! I discovered it for myself and with this video im able to use the peace that I found. It all clicked together! I was not sure what to use it for but I found the momentum in the movement.. if that makes any sense hahaha

    Watched this, went to a pump track the same day and immediately improved my cornering. Consciously turning my torso made all the difference. Now to get the pump track reps in for muscle memory, then take it to the trail. Thanks DD!

    I witnessed my wife have a surprise low speed accident on pavement resulting in no injuries, completely shattered helmet though. That’s all I could think about during this video. Really enjoy all your other content though.

    You don't realize the chance you have in some parts of America. Where I live in the bike parks at 60$ to 100$ a day for lifts you find groomed trails and berms but what I ride the most is moto enduro trail and cross country skiing trails. Double black is not adequate to describe this mess 😂

    Ride like a pro, without having too train like a pro…😂 Right! That should immediately alarm you! If that were feasible, everyone would ride like a pro, thus no pro would any longer stick out as a pro. People should just accept that it takes thousands of hours of practice combined with the right personality, mindset and talent, to get anywhere near the level of a pro.

    I’m far worse at running and never wear a helmet. Kidding yeah next time I’m throwing on the skid lid. Little guy snuck behind me without me seeing him on the first clip! Next time I’ll get him to rock his full face. He thinks it’s cool.

    Not to be the downer but.... Kid+bike=helmet. 100%. I'm sure there are plenty of dads that see the same thing. I have a 6 year old as well.

    mine just leave their helmets on largely because it's too much of a pain in the rear to keep track of em. helps that all the parents in the neighborhood have agreed to troll all the kids by sending them home on foot if they show up anywhere without a helmet
