It was almost a RECORD how much OVERGROWTH I REMOVED

These are the most overgrown sidewalks and curbs I've seen in a while! I spent over 8 hours edging and shoveling the dirt off the surfaces to remove it. After I got finished, I weighed my truck before and after dropping it off to see how much I actually removed. It came in at about 2000 pounds!

    While it's free to the people he cuts for these videos, his videos get millions of views. It pays for itself and more. It's a smart business model, and definitely very beneficial to the people he helps. But he likely wouldn't be doing it if he couldn't monetize it through the power of the internet. That would be insanity. It's still extremely hard work, and he absolutely deserves all the success his channels get.

    I just want to say that for the most part whenever I watch these videos, I’m always surprised and happy to see how nonjudgmental people are. I see so many people giving sympathy and understanding towards the people who have overgrowth and unkept yards. It’s really inspiring and has really made me know that I’m on the right path in my journey towards being more understanding towards people. It really is true that when your intent and energy out there you find yourself inundated with people😊 who are already embodying what you’re trying to do.

    You don't need the "right" equipment to clean up your lawn and do edging. There are old-fashioned manual edgers that an able-bodied young man could push around if he had a mind to do it! I have one hanging in my garage, for goodness sake and I'm a 72 year old woman. You can probably find them at garage sales. You don't need a top notch edger or string trimmer to pull weeds and clip corners and fence lines clean.

    When I was 47, I started doing landscape maintence, mostly mowing (walking behind the mower). Boy I was fit! Lots of exercise and had pretty good energy (climate wasn't bad either...not the heat and humidity Spenser is working in). By 60, I figured my body was worth about half my younger energy. You are forced to learn how to work with the resources you have. As you get older, your experience is more valuable, but often people don't value the experience as part of the work (labor) qualifications! 😊

    Hey.whats up... you know if you weed eat at a 45° angle with grass to your left. All your clippings will go in the grass. Always on your left the whole property. Saves on blowing time. And its just common sense..

    @@kylecasey7890 Yep. In addition to working all day on a property (the first job), he also has to set up cameras, download the videos, edit them, do the intros, etc (the second job). It’s a lot of work, and I’m glad he’s getting rewarded for it.

    Definitely agree. I paid $200 at Tractor Supply for a towable lawn cart that can haul 1,500 pounds. I use that little workhorse all of the time!

    I just posted the same thing about using a trash can on wheels. I bought mine at Walmart for $30 and it has been so much better to use than hauling around a regular trash can. It’ll even roll on grass. It’s important to treat your back with care because the older you get the more you’ll feel how you jacked your back over the years. I just turned 65. It isn’t called “back breaking work” for nothing.

    Also with the square one on wheels the heavy paper lawn bags drop right down perfectly in the one on wheels. No need to empty out all the plastic bags because the lawn bags compost right down.

    Another awesome transformation! I am continually amazed at how in a country so litigious as the US, how poorly-maintained (or not maintained at all) the sidewalks are in your videos. Seems like a recipe for trips/falls/injuries resulting in lots of lawsuits. Great work, Spencer! 👍

    Spencer you are so cool. You clearly were brought up with excellent morals and values and respect for others. Has your community ever reached out to you to help with some basic expenses? You do so much value not for homeowners but fit the community clearing gutters and deterring criminals. I know it’s out of your pocket and that is truly generous.
