IT STARTED! Chinese EV Market Is WAY WORSE Than We Thought! The Chinese EV market was supposed to be the future of electric vehicles, but something has gone terribly wrong. The electric vehicle (EVs) market in China is facing a massive crisis. Chinese EV Makers find themselves entrenched in a desperate struggle for survival. Many of Chinese EV car companies are going bankrupt, leaving behind huge EV graveyards, debts, unfinished projects, and angry customers. What is causing this EV collapse, and who is to blame? Who will be the victim of this unprecedented EV collapse? And what are the implications for the millions of EV owners and investors worldwide?

😊 Hey guys! We created the Chase Car channel to give viewers a broad overview of the upcoming new cars from the top car manufacturers. We are huge fans of pickup trucks of all sizes: compact, mid-size and full-size trucks. So mostly, we will cover new upcoming trucks, but besides that, here you can find a lot of content about new sedans and SUVs too.
The Electric Vehicle wave sooner or later will become huge, so this type of content might appear on this channel from time to time. But as we are still on the way to becoming fully electrical, we mostly cover fossil cars from many amazing brands.

There are good cars and there are bad cars. Most are in between. This applies for both ICE and EVs. Ev's haven't been around long enough and they change all the time. It seems like there's a new you beaut battery coming into production every month. It's hard to get useable reliability data on them. So, if you're interested, you need to go off reviews. There are a lot of EVs with good reviews and some of them are on the cheap side of average price. I'm interested in buying one. But not yet. As time goes on they seem to be getting better and cheaper. But the charging infrastructure needs to catch up.

I first heard of NIO earlier today, a Chinese EV manufacturer that chose the approach of swapping batteries rather than connecting to a charging station. The company recently reached 60,000,000 battery swaps. Its vehicles are very popular in Norway, where 65% of the car market is for EV's. How has NIO achieved its rapid growth? It has been losing more than $35,000 per EV sold. I don't see how anyone can argue that such losses on every sale is sustainable.

  • @tooltime9260

No one can realistically compare Norway to a LARGE country with various electricity sources other than hydro. You just can't. How a country uses its vehicles is another factor not accounted for. Battery swaps is a good concept if done correctly, but the start-up of this concept in a country is HUGE! There are many details needed to work out no one talks about. As to loss of $$$ per vehicle, that's no ones business other than the manufacturer.

Where have you been brother, 10’s of thousands of unsold Chinese EV’s have been languishing on a plethora of European ports. These EV’s were never ordered, requested, or prospective. Neither the CCP nor the Germans and other EU countries where these fire traps are literally taking up massive concrete parking lots, performed any analysis or feasibility study on European demand. China’s economy is severely struggling especially since the real estate market and construction have majorly declined, so the Chinese have been just cranking out EV’s to try and resuscitate the economy. This includes providing massive subsidies to Chinese EV makers that are worth more than cars in some instances albeit this practice was discontinued in late 2022. There are still lucrative subsidies for EV buyers in China and likely still some unreported subsidies for Chinese EV manufacturers to avoid high tariffs. Like anything coming out of China you never know the truth. If you think the forlorn Chinese EV’s on European ports are an eyesore delve into the copious Chinese EV graveyards (brand new cookie cutter EV’s produced just for the subsidy $$$) interspersed all over China. I would wager there is at least 1/2 a million to a million abandoned throughout China. It’s obscene. We have seen this time and again like with EV bikes. The overproduction, more like pollution of Chinese EV’s will not cease anytime soon with reports that the CCP is planning to build a fleet of 6 more car carriers that can dump 3000 or more EV’s per trip at a port near you.

She stated that the expensive inner workings of each vehicle are installed and then stripped out. This way the manufacturer can produce large numbers of vehicles, earn the government subsidy, and then minimize their cost of production. They constantly reuse the batteries etc. in successive cars, rather than buying new for each one. Those ‘graveyards’ aren’t fully-functioning EVs.🤫🤫🤫🤫🎓🎓🎓

. An EV truck on a farm in a Texan desert? Yikes 😱! A time-bomb! Or charge it for 6-10 hours. For an ICE, just add gas in 2-5 minutes and you are on your way. Electricity is also really expensive. Don’t listen to these people. I will stick with the convenience of my ICE. The real cost of charging EV’s isn’t out yet but it’s coming. Oh! Wait! EV era is over; it’s and will remain a sidekick not for real hustle.

If China can make a mark in Automotive biz within 10 years in market then all those established Automotive in the world should reflect on their manufacturing! Come on EV is definitely a no no in most countries except for transportation automotive. China EV maker only mainly for domestic sales and some other poor countries to buy cheap China EV ! Those “upend model” basically is showcase but only limited buyer’s and moreover they don’t have safety standard !

The great joy of electric cars is intelligent, autonomous driving. A lot of people are starting to dismiss it without even trying it, or even looking for a video to watch, and that's a very closed mindset. The development of machine learning, the level of intelligence has gone beyond our imagination.

@@markvincent5992 I've seen a lot of EV test videos and they've outperformed most of the world's oil cars in terms of safety, especially the Japanese and Korean carmakers. In terms of intelligent driving, Chinese EV manufacturers are already using mapless driving and have moved away from relying on HD maps. For example, the AITO m9, AVATR 12, performs very well, there are many test videos you can follow. Even if you don't actively use the autopilot, the unique AEB function can save you a lot of trouble. In high-speed driving situations, relying on the human eye to avoid an emergency is not an option. I'm currently driving an NIO in Thailand. After getting used to EVs, I never want to drive a clunky petrol car again.

The more they need to push something, the more you know that the people don't want that "something". Toyota rarely advertised their hybrids way back. They let the market go at its own pace. If they sold, great! If not, maybe let them die out. In that case, they sold so they kept making them. Good things rarely need ads or help being sold. Bad things always do. EVs are a universal joke being pushed on a resistant public. Instead of Evs being pushed, cars themselves ought to phased out and top quality mass transit put in its place. While M/T cannot replace everything, a LOT of travel can be substituted. Look at Switzerland. The have the best transport in the world, so no one can say it's not possible. Cars have outlived their universal necessity. Time to replace them. As to China's economy, it's only about 40 years old. It has basically peaked and they have no idea how to operate a "capitalist" style economy. The CCP is determined to make and keep slaves of their population and those two concepts don't mix. Let China crash by its own devices.

Switzerland is a small area compared with the US and other places. Most of their vaunted transportation seems to be light rail and local transportation services. Distance is short and perhaps they spent more on infrastructure, but wiring that country wouldn’t be much different than Disneyland.
