Hello, my friends! Today we are going to make a very tasty and tender poppy seed cake from sand dough. At first glance, the recipe for poppy seed cake may seem complicated, but in reality the cooking process is very simple, and the result will not leave indifferent even the most demanding gourmet. Ingredients:
Dough:
300 g wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
100 g sugar
130 g butter
1 egg yolk
30 ml milk
Filling:
250 g quark
85 g sugar
50 ml milk
1 egg white
1 egg
100 g ground poppy seeds
1 tsp cinnamon
- 27 cm cake tin
- Place 1/3 of the dough (approx. 200 g) in the freezer for 30 minutes.
- Roll out 2/3 of the dough and place in the tin.
- Place the cake tin in the fridge for 30 minutes
- Grate the frozen dough
- Bake in the oven at 180°С for 45 minutes
