The audio quality is better, but all sound is on the left side. Love your planning segment. Think it would be easier for you for arranging bouquet recipes.

Thanks! I thought there was no sound before I came to the comment section because I was listening with only one ear bud in my right ear
Audio in my headphones is just on my left … thought my headphones was the problem 😂😂😂
Sound worked great for me on this video. We overload our front garden with poppies, they look great as a wild field that the deer won't eat but none of the varieties last more than a day or two in cut boquets. They are beautifully dramatic for some whimsical photo shoots if you get them fresh into a same day session though. Thanks for the list, i am expanding my snapdragons for next year, again mainly as the deer don't eat them in my front garden that my photo clients get to see when they come to the studio
Awesome!! My sweet peas were amazing this year.. sold 28 bunches and gave away about 10. I love their fragrance! Danielle from Northlawn Flower farm had the best video, and it worked well.
The straight lime zinnia is great too
The poppies on last a day- 2 at most in a vase for me, & most say the same thing so Definitely wait for the pods! Some say they get 3-5 days but i dont see how, & even then, that wpuld only work for events, not for people that do farmers markets like we do! 😊
Sweetpea gardens has great sweetpea seeds too
So exciting! I just placed my order. I ordered saponaria as well. We have wild saponaria and Yarrow but I want a straight stem and 1 location to pick instead of going all over our 10 acres to harvest.
Stock likes it cold! I planted when temps were in the 40s and 50s which for me were was around Valentine’s Day. Covered with ag-19 until they were established. Katz bloomed end of march and April. Iron bloomed end of april into may. Katz were taller but iron was more beefy.

Ty for this- every uear I plant too late. First year in April, this year in March, both years they never bloomed?!?
For the audio stuff - check that the audio track is set to MONO and not STEREO. That should fix the one-ear-audio problem!

Thank you Christina. Happy growing ! 🌺💚🙃
I ❤ these videos, they definitely get me pumped for next years garden!! I really hope I can get my hands on some purple twist snaps, this will be my 3rd year trying! *fingers crossed* It’s hard to believe how quickly this season has gone by that we are starting our cool flowers already! Happy seed shopping!

Glad you like them!
Yay !!! Love Danielle 😊 Great choices 😁
I did cactus zinnias and they were so much better than i could have expected 😊
Last ywtny stock bloomed in fall
Sound is much better, watching on the TV. Thursday night bad rain and was in-between two tornados my huge zinnia pot toppled over. Sunflowers bent over taped them and steaked them. Love watching because you give us so much good information
I pick the poppy just as it starts to crack open slightly. Then it will pop open in the vase as a surprise. When the pedals falloff you are left with a beautiful seed pod.
Your audio is perfect!! I love your videos:)
They all look like great choices. I’m going to try ordering a few again from floret I had very bad germination from her seeds this past spring. My shipping issue not sure why.
Darn it! The sound moved to the left ear bud now. Maybe you can wear both mics and we can hear in stereo? Anyway, thanks for another lovely video. I love plant/seed hauls and hearing about plans for the next season!

Enjoyed seeing you plan for next year! Audio is clear; however, sound only in one ear with headphones.
Your seed choices are stunning! You will have such beautiful bouquets from these selections. I see your beautiful arrangements and they set the bar so high for my expectations for farmers market flowers!! A couple of interesting flowers you might want to check out is the drumstick flower...it's a round yellow ball. Also globe thistle is a blue spikey ball. I'm thinking of trying both.
Sounds like a great list and I love how you organize the year on paper. I did get tired of Mahogany Splendor taking so long and just planted a couple of Japanese Maples. Hopefully they will be a good swap

It's bouquet and farmers market time that's what I wait for all year and you are ordering seeds
My stock is flowering in zone 10b right now the last week of august. It’s insanity 😳

Woah!
Yes, the barlow columbine is a perennial for me in zone 5b, and it self sowed some unique seedlings as well. A gift that kept giving! Im also going to try the saponaria too, so look forward to hearing your progress. Blossom and Branch is a great channel too!

Oh I am in zone 5B, good to know
I've grown the frosted salmon poppy and it doesn't hold very long in bouquets. They are gorgeous but I like them for the seed pod.
Submitting my geo order tomorrow! Been slowly working on a list like you and I’ve taken the last HOT week to finish it up. We have a lot of the same seed orders from floret & geo!

Left side works only
Hi Christina, I grow Oriental poppies for the seed pods. The poppies only last a day or so in the garden so I havent tried cutting them. They make excellent seed pods and these Oriental poppies are perennials. I do know some poppies can be harvested for the vase but I think the stems need to be conditioned.

And thank you for sharing info about Geo seeds, I ordered from them also due to you mentioning them in past videos.
Only one earbud but the left now instead of the right, makes sense if being detected as a different input than the old mic. It’s receiving as stereo instead of mono for some reason, which is very strange would happen back and forth in the middle of a video like when it started. Hope it’s nothing major and you figure it out. Yes, more plants of a given variety is the general advice. Jennie Love from Love n Fresh Flowers famously grows hundreds of dahlias but only about 10 varieties.

Hmm. Gotta get this figured out!
Oh! I’m definitely interested in seeing how the Barlow columbine do. I just love the flowers 🌸 but shady areas near me have black walnut and the juglone has an impact I’ve heard (or just user error on my part). Have you looked into growing astrantia? Another perennial, gorgeous foliage and flowers which can be dried

I have not. Will have to look into that!
So much fun to see your seed orders! Wondering - when you order from Farmer Bailey - do you order it so that it arrives when you want to plant it? Thanks for all your inspiration!

Yes you choose your ship date
Using my AirPods my audio was great, those poppies only last about a day once cut, if that; better off leaving them in the garden.
Thank you for this interesting video. How long is your growing season? I live in Qld, Australia. Are you able to grow lilies there? It must get very cold there, but I would enjoy experiencing the beautiful seasons that you have.

Yes to lilies. Tried some this year and weren’t my fav…..our growing season is from May to October. Never long enough! 😊
I can only receive audio on the left, too. My hearing aids are Bluetooth.

what is that variety of celosia you were talking about? I grow a couple and they are robust! I'd like to grow more if I liked the variety. Thanks!

I plant a lot of the celway series
And for the Eryngium, rabbits have eaten all the flowers off my plant two years in a row. I need to create a protected area for them, they even climbed up the 18' chicken wire I place around them. 😂

Thank you for sharing your videos. I'm really enjoying seeing your flowers. Can I ask what is the name of the bulb you mentioned that starts with an "L"? I tried replaying but still can't catch the name of the bulb.

Leucojum - hoping to plant some this fall!
1 airbus only but mo big deal bc either earbud works if used as one.
😬. It’s the same. Only one AirPod for you video; commercials and other channels fine. 🤷♀️. I’ll just wait until I can watch without AirPods. Love your content.
I have a question when you plant cold hardy annuals and they perennialize do you leave them in that spot permanently? I live in Florida and it gets really hot in the summer. Will they die back and come back on their own when it’s cooler in the Fall?

Which varieties are you talking about?
Ive been having an issue with all of my zinnias this year too! But my issue is theyre only lasting about 3-4 days in a vase, & then theyre turning brown. Not all of them are but most of the colors... Ive ueard of something called Zinnia meltdown, but i think thats when the stem also wilts. My steks arent wilting?!?

Audio only on one earbud. But, so what? I put them both in and I can hear you just perfectly. Thanks for all you do for flower growers. We love to learn and we love watching your flowers grow.
