Absolutely!
Another timely reminder to shop from our own closets, think about cost per wear and appreciate what we have. These are truly first world problems. ❤
Please do more videos like this! Such a good reminder that what we own was once just something we coveted.

True😊
With the absurd price increases in the luxury handbag world, we need to quit buying new bags and wear what we already have because even if you get that new bag that you’ve been dreaming about, the novelty will eventually wear off and you’re going to want something new; the cycle repeats. Having a luxury handbag is a huge blessing and we need to appreciate the fact that we own one and wear it like there’s no tomorrow.

Thanks for sharing this!!
Sometimes we imagine our ideal self when purchasing a new item. When the real you goes to wear it, it suddenly feels like more of an effort. But once you do, often it reminds you why you liked it in the first place.
I love all of this! 10 years ago I couldn’t imagine owning the things that I currently have and have worked so hard for. Yet, I’m always on the hunt for my next luxury purchase. This is such a great reminder ❤

Oh that’s a great perspective! 10 years ago vs now. Wow.
All we have is all we need!
This is exactly what I’ve been doing this past year, re-loving the bags that I have sitting in my closet by actively using/rotating them. We all love the hunt, and when we finally get it, the excitement dies down and we look at other bags to want. It’s a vicious cycle. I also don’t just use specific bags for specific occasions anymore because that’s one of the reasons why we end up not using a bag enough, and therefore not getting a good cost per wear.

Yes! Well said! Thank you 👏🏾
This bag is so so beautiful! I’m glad you are keeping it! When I start to feel like I don’t love what I have anymore, I watch KZread unboxings on the bag and it reminds my why I originally loved it so much
I constantly 'shop from my stash'. Its a term i coined when I used to be a keen crafter, but it works with your wardrobe also. I've never had the money to splurge a lot on a nurses salary ( now retired) so I've always bought preloved and have to sell one ( or more) to buy sonething new. This has an added advantage - several times I've realised I love what I already own more than that new thing I've been looking at!
I went from 50 handbags down to 15 and my goal is to keep it that way! Fewer options means all my bags can get more love and wear👜💕
You're so right, I have purged but kept what I love and shopping my closet more, trying the no buy challenge now.
It’s a beautiful bag ❤ I love the strap charms. We need to be more mindful on what works for our lifestyle not just splurge bc they are beautiful.
This is a great mindset, whether it would be luxury or not. You bought you loved it at one point, remember why, and put it in rotation. We live in the land of consumerism, always going for shiny new things when we have plenty at home because we don't use them. So love what you have and slow down before clicking the buy button.

Absolutely! There was a reason we bought it in the first place! 😊
It is easier to be happy and contented if you started from not having much. I remember growing up from a poor family that even at christmas or new year we don't have any food at the table to share with but we were happy when neighbor's bring something to us like foods and gifts, our heart were so full that those joyous feeling lasts many years down the road. Now that life favor us sometimes we forget to appreciate the things we already have and keep on wanting more. One thing I found effective for me is to make a lists on what I want, I still have my list way back 2009 when I started working. Like for a bag if I want crossbody I only need two then I am not buying a third one unless I gave one to prevent me from having much with the same purpose.
Embracing the art of contentment transforms our perspective on possessions. It's not about the pursuit of more, but about cherishing the stories and memories each item holds. Our belongings are not just material objects; they are the silent witnesses to our life's journey. By valuing what we have, we honor not just the item itself, but the moments and emotions they represent. This shift from craving newness to appreciating the present is not just liberating, it's a profound journey back to our true selves.

Wow, so poetic. Love the way you expressed this. 👏
Thank you for your message. I think we all go through this when we want something we love and once we get it, the novelty wears off. We do need to appreciate what we have and look at it with a different set of eyes to fall in love with it again and use it.
I am so envious of your Lady Dior bag. That’s my dream bag. I’m selling some bags that I don’t wear and have really tried to like them but sometimes it’s just right to let them go.
Such a beautiful bag! I would be able to recognize the wonderful sounds of a Lady Dior blindfolded 🙂

Love this msg
Love your bag, also you never know how well you get along with a bag till you use it 😉
This is good.. I bought my lady for last summer in Italy wore it all summer then put it away.. I need to pull it out again.😊
The color of your Lady Dior looks gorgeous against your sweater! Im happy to see you wearing your bag and giving it a chance to be appreciated!
Yes love this!!!
I have a bag that I’ve been trying to sell and it’s still in my collection. I’m going to start trying to use mine also. I love your lady Dior. The color is perfect.
Great video! Sometimes I watch a positive review video on a bag I already own and that gets me excited to use it too. 😊
Love this!!!!
Love this! ❤️ U!!!🙏🏼
I feel like EVERYTHING you said about your Dior is what has happened with me and my sky blue Chanel mini. I loved it so much, but stopped appreciating it because it was cross body + was getting alot of attention from strangers. I priced it lower that it should even be sold at, and a lot of transactions fell through as well. Maybe I am meant to keep it, but I wasn't really wearing it and loving it more. I also know I WON'T be buying another Chanel because of the prices now. I was chasing the blue Chanel I got, I even contacted so many SA's to help me find it. So this video speaks to me A LOT actually

Give it another chance. 😉
Love this video! I have started my low buy year and enjoying what I have. I am intentionally putting my bags into a cycle so that each one gets used😊 Really appreciate this affirmation ❤
Such a good message! I was very close to selling my Chanel WOC in beige clair. I don't use it very often but I would've sold it at a loss. I had the strap shortened so I could wear it comfortably as a cross body but in the process of almost selling it, I realized I really do like the bag and I had the strap shortened for me, so I decided to keep it. Appreciating what we already have it a great habit to create! Living with an attitude of gratitude.
Thank you! I needed that reminder and advice💕👜
Love this and I totally agree with you! Sometimes we just need to rummage around the wardrobe and re-appreciate our things ☺️❤
You are 💯 on point. I feel exactly like you do with my Lady Dior and i love it!!! But… don’t use. And I can’t tell exactly why. But im going to practice what you are doing with yours. I’m hoping i can find my way with it.
I love this bag! I'm so glad you're wearing it and trying to make use of it 💕
Thank you for this video! Puts our gratitude into perspective ❤
I know this is from two days ago, but I think I would remove some of the bling and just make it look more like a classic black bag only in pink. I am not a big fan of a lot of hardware on purses. You could also get rid of the bling and maybe add a really pretty scarf onto the bag.
You said it so well! I have been trying to rotate my bags and use and love what I have. To a point where I’m keeping track of what I use to make sure I’m not leaving any bag out 😂
Thank you for this, have to remind myself too na to appreciate the stuff I have. I let go of a few bags I don’t use anymore last year and i feel better and keep and use only the ones I love ❤

Good for you! Always feels nice to lighten the load and appreciate what’s left. 😉
This was an EXCELLENT and very practical message. Thank you! I couldn't agree with you more!
This bag is so beautiful! I have a similar color.
I've moved to niche French & Italian brands versus the "luxury" well known names. Leo ét Violette has amazing quality for a wonderful price point.
Good way to look at our items.
It's such a beautiful bag. Glad you are loving it again!
i have the same lady dior - same color, make and size - and the same experience trying to sell it then accepting it back to my collection 🙈 it’s a very pretty bag and even though not my most used, i think it has a place in my wardrobe for pink outfits and girly dresses. i curated my collection during the pandemic and intend to enjoy my small tribe of 10 classic bags without adding too much more. 💕 love to see more videos like this - taking our wardrobes to their full potential!
"LOVE what we ALREADY HAVE!" is another way of saying: I'm broke and I can't afford another bag. Nice video btw! xoxo
I love this video! Can’t wait for your new contents. ❤
Thank you…a great reminder ❤
That is a beautiful bag! Classic style. I was always wondering why you wanted to get rid of it.
This advice was right on time for me! I really appreciate your sharing your thoughts because this is focus for me this year! TFS ❤🌼
I love this video❤ that’s so what I needed to hear. Ps this exact size and color is on my wish list list!
Great reminder!
I have one medium and one small lady Dior both purchased brand new from the boutique and I use my medium all the time I never reach for my small I find the medium is the perfect size
Love that bag!
You and the Lady D really complement each other. It looks lovely on you 😊
I have this bag as well - I love it but rarely use it ❤. Thanks for this video!
I love this topic! We all need to remind ourselves to enjoy what we have. I'm so happy with my luxury-to-me collection now. I've let go of all the bags that didn't 'spark joy' so I'm left with what I love. Many thanks! ❤🌻
Loved this video so much ❤
Absolutely true.
This is so timely! I was telling my daughter how I bought two wool coats as a 20 year old and how expensive they were for me back then. For maybe 2 years I have been wanting one of the longer ones but just didn't like the way they looked on me, so I kept reverting back to my two mid length coats. I realized I don't need the trend because I have these two that looks good on me and I enjoy wearing, and also spent a lot of money on (at the time lol)!
Not the endorphins having a part in our madness 😊😅😅😅great video ❤ I need to hear this message. Thx so much
You have a very pleasant voice. Thanks for sharing your encouragement to use what we have 😊.
This is the video I needed, thank you for encouraging me to wear some bags I coveted then ignored. I have a vintage medium Lady Dior with gold hw in red and although gorgeous and in great condition, its the colour that I just find is so unlike everything else I have. However, I wear many neutral shades which would enable me to coordinate the bag so I'm just going to go ahead and wear it to see how it feels as I'd been reluctantly thinking of selling it. I know I'm lucky to have this bag so should use and appreciate it. Great video, thanks for the thought provoking content x
No bag left behind!!! Love it! I sold a bag this month…. Replaced it with a much more ‘me’ bag. I’m down like 6 bags since the Fall so a smaller better collection is a process. I love what’s left. Now my closet looks so much better!

This is my cue to use my Pink Lady Dior. Thanks for this video!
Totally agreed!
thanks for this! I keep looking for new purchase even though I already bought some nice affordable bags in few months. I think I really need one session to look at all collection and decide when to wear it.

Aw thank you for your kind words! I’m glad the video resonated with you.
I also have this bag in sand-colored and I am so afraid to use so I really just used it once to go to church and that was it. I love it so much I am afraid to carry it.
I’m so glad you didn’t sell it! It’s so pretty but not too fancy like the others
your Lady Dior is lovely! 😊
Hi, I'm new here! I was scrolling on my work device and I'm glad your video popped up. I think about this often, and I even considered buying the lady Dior, but in cherry (bright) red. Thanks for your perspective. :)

Aw I’m so glad the video popped up for you! Thank you for watching~
I bought a small black lady Dior 2 years ago and never once used it😮. Love it but just could not find the occasion to wear it.
Love this sentiment! I tried to do the same thing today and bring out my Chanel boy bag (with joggers and a pull over 😂). As a mom sometimes I opt for other bags since I perceive them as too fancy for my more casual lifestyle but I added them to my collection for a reason! These additions are meant to be loved! I am going to work on wanting what I already have this year too! 💓

As a mom i go through the same but with shoes. 😅
I needed this! I got a beautiful new YSL bag 2 weeks ago & love it, but I am already wanting others. Why? I am lucky to have several designer bags already. I am grateful for what I have but at the same time seem ungrateful. What is wrong with me?

This is the marketing campaign at its best. It’s about the dopamine. The FOMO creation is a thing too. Nothing wrong with you sweetie. ❤
I’m so about enjoying-existing-collection buuttt 👀 I have to say I rarely touch my pink bags too. And I wear a lot of neutrals. I still think we SHOULD let go of bags we rarely wear. If we even have to TRY to wear it, no offense to you but if you try that hard to let it go, I think that’s enough reason 😬✌️❤️ That cost-per-wear is real. Just giving my thoughts ❤

Absolutely, when something is time to go, letting go feels great! In this case, it’s the bag with 9 lives as I’ve joked before! 😂 I’d rather use and enjoy it vs selling it at a huge loss. I’ve sold other bags without batting an eye but it seems I have new eyes for this Lady now. 😉
2024 - Important Questions I will be asking myself while shopping. “Do I need it?” “How often am I going to use it?” “Do I have room for it in my already packed closet?” “What would Hello CatWalk City advise?”
Thank you Hannah for the gentle reminder. I needed to hear this today 🙏🏽
I love this bag so much! Please hang on to it and love it for me, because I can't afford to buy one!
A great commentary
appreciation is not a bad thing. Sure you may not think its the same as love but appreciation is still valid and important, especially for the objects you have already ❤ Too be honest if the charms are the thing you love I would even be tempted to keep the strap one day & recycle it on another bag
Tq for doing this, I Don t'know why more ppl Don t adopt this mantra, instead they keep buying and can u actually use them.. I understand there are some collectors but during the pandemic I felt I had so many bags and no where to wear them to. I hv since down sized and sold what ever I was not using. It was a hard lesson money lost and now super careful and mindful of what I buy. Also prices hv sky rocked... Lv use to be affordable now 3 times the price 😢. I have a long hard think before I part and now wait until sure. I need to get my money s worth 😅
I love this SO much!! Do you mind if I turn it into a tag? I want to do a video about my “re-loved” bag that I’m trying to consciously love and appreciate-and I’m curious what others have to say about this too! ❤
I love yr blush dior. Wanted to share i bought my LD in black in Dec but till now i have yet to carry her out and many times been contemplating to sell her.. actually during the exchange period i wanted to change to another color but my Sa told me black is a classic. So in the end i stuck to black. I hope i have the same thinking as you and not want to sell cos the price is very high and resale value is very low😅
I love this video. Before I sell any piece I carry It a few time to make sure. I had a Lady Dior in the most gorgeous fuchsia and in the end it had to go. It is such a beautiful silhouette, but the bag to me is just so incredibly fussy and frustrating to use that finally I had to let it go. I replaced it with a Fendi baguette, and the exact, same bright, fuchsia period in the end it was about the color and sadly the lady Dior I just found to be extremely difficult to use, and that’s saying something because I will suffer for beauty!

“Because I will suffer for beauty!” 😂 💕 So glad you found another beautiful fuschia bag that works better for you!
could you do a "most wear" clothing vid, please?
Loved this video; question, how frequently do u use your Chanel classic flap; I have 2, BUT since they are so grossly expensive, I am a bit timid to use; what are your thoughts?
❤
I agree we should try to be grateful and appreciate what we have. But these bags are expensive, if we don’t love them, it’s ok to let them go. We don’t need to force ourselves to wear them if they don’t hit the spot ❤
Could you suggest your favorite resell company to sell luxury bags
