I think this is going to be a great move for all of you! I follow Elysia English, her family moved to Nova Scotia to live the homesteading life, and it’s a really fascinating environment over there. The real estate market is quite insane, we are looking around Chicago, and but I feel like this may be an easier ride with where you’re going. Good luck, I hope everything comes together soon! 💜

Amazing news Tasha! I moved back to the Prairies (MB) last September from the east coast (PE). I miss it lot but it’s absolutely stunning to be near the ocean and folks from the Maritimes are SUPER friendly!! Best of luck on your new journey. Can’t wait to see the vlogs!

Is there like a travelers visa to where you can stay in the US for a few months? I’m excited for you and for this whole moving series! I love househunting and moving videos! I live in the UK but my dream is to move to Canada and Nova Scotia is one of the provinces I’m interested in, so I’m going to be obsessively watching. 😂 I have heard some not so great things about it though, like the healthcare, so any info you discover about NS as a place to live compared to Ontario would be super interesting to share too. Going down East leaving in June with my dog and my RV heading to Newfoundland and taking the ferry across. Gone for 1 month travel PEI HALIFAX NEW BRUNSWICK BADECK …….CAN NOT WAIT

Im from Nova Scotia, recently relocated from Halifax to the beautiful South Shore where my love and I bought our first home. It really is a beautiful province.

I feel this. I bought a house in 2021, I love it, it's still very much a work in progress, but it doesn't feel like a forever home. I don't feel a huge connection or joy from it, most of the choices were made for my dogs, not for me, which I'm totally fine with. It'll be interesting to see what happens in the future,

My friend just moved from Kitchener to Beachburg (Renfrew county) and she's mortgage free now.

do you know the You Tuber, Ariel Basset? she did exactly that - bought a house in NS without seeing it in person, drove there and started doing it up.

You need to do what's right for you, and why not? There are no rules to how we choose to live our lives. Within reason lol. I would love some insight into where your moving, there are some other KZread voggers that live there and it makes me very curious as to what it's like there.

As an Ontarian native my parents were born in NS…and they moved back for retirement. If you can make a living your quality of life will be better in NS. Slower lifestyle, amazing kind people. I hate to be negative and say but unfortunately Ontario has gone to shit.
