I went from domestic violence..walked away by faith. Divorced and found a home for me and my kids. My ex told my children we wouldn't be here two months. Now four years later I'm a hospice companion and aid. Smiling and enjoying my work, touching the lives of others and loving my children. My mental state is good, and my faith is unwaivering. My ex is mad enough to kill me but I must go on with my full armour of God on. I must go on.

Lost one of our daughters to the Sandy River back in 1996 could have lost both that day,.. the one that survived has three children now, I started my fence company in 2009, I told my granddaughter back then that when she turns 18 yrs old I would hire her as my secretary. I hired her last week. Talk about a come back!

@@manufran02 I agree. This is the one and only thing in this speech I do not agree with. Somethings in life you do not get over, you learn to live with it in peace. You learn to live with it in peace by acknowledging it happened, it was painful, you will never get an apology, and day by day you manage. When a thought of the trauma pops up, have the thought, let it pass. And as time goes hopefully you will think about it far and between.

@@kayk2899 Yes, you can try to suppress it and keep it hidden from others, but you know exactly what it is and it has a tendency to remind you it is still around iregardless of how quietly you try to manage. It is a wound that never heals and more often than not, it reminds you once a in a while, but hey, that might not be a bad thing because its what keeps you humble.

Please share, I've been hopeless for so long, I put myself in situations just to belong am longing for Love, Comfort, peace.. I overthink everything, I Love so much that I can't accept when the next person is not there anymore. Deep down inside I know am better than this, I know I can do more for myself, but it's so hard because I feel like I need someone to complement me in everything I do, I've been a nobody from my family to relatives.. Am tired of living like this, am in a very toxic relationship right now, but am still here even though I know this man can leave any day and go and marry the woman who he promised to marry at home. I want to leave, but I have no where to go, I fear to go home coz I don't want to be a laughing stock at home as I left, and now that things are sour I see a need to go home. Please advise coz am drained emotionally, I tried committing suicide, I walked out in the middle of the night few times and he never bothered to stop me, I don't know if am in denial about everything. I want to do what's best for me... Please help me

I’ve started listening to Les in about 2015. I was a CNA at the time super unhappy and feeling stuck. I would listen to Les on my drive to work everyday until I realized i could change my life if I just had faith in myself and in the process. Today in 2020 I am in nursing school and so excited for what’s ahead in my future!

I was a victim of slave trafficking in my early 20's and tossed on the side homeless to die by people that made promises, calling me family and friends. The day I woke up was the day I was sleeping in the cold realizing they're not coming back for me. I was crying and sad day by day. But one day I was fortunate enough to come across a quote said (When you're in the bottom you have nothing to lose and everything to gain) I am now a restaurant owner in GA but this is just another stepping stone towards greatness. Moral of the story is, educate yourself, observe those who call you family and friends in a short amount of time and have your own mind.

I'm 26 years old and I feel like I've wasted my time to achieve what 20 year old guys are doing now. I have always been fighting against time I've wasted and compared it to the people that I'm close with and that destroyed me mentally. But along the way I found this man and others on KZread that have made me "woke" and I'm transforming to a wolf instead of staying as a sheep. What I'm trying to say is if your 30,40,50 or whatever age, it's never too late unless you dead, to achieve greatness no matter what magnitude of the success is. I hope that you Don't mind my words. I believe that your first Achievement was coming to the acknowledgement that you've been wasting a lot of time. Try not to ponder over it. Where you are right now and the achievements of your peers is neither here nor there ( unimportant). Besides you are still young enough to surpass them if you wanted to.Some are taught the rules at a very young age and sometimes they're good listener and executors.Whereas others it may just take a little more time. Its said that most men spend most of their time recovering from their past ( making up for their 20s in their 30s ,make up for their 40s in their 50s). Sadly some guys will NEVER catch it until they're way up in age,BUT you ALREADY caught it! ............well do and congratulations! NOW put a plan together AND GET IT, BUT NEVER LOOK BACK CHAMP.!!!

For those saying there was no lesson.. the lesson was so good he didn’t even have to say it. He showed it in actions not words. He described it to you instead of showing the picture. He showed that we are all in this together, and that doesn’t mean that everyone will help you, be good to you, or help you, but we are all experiencing the same thing. We just never stopped to realize

When I bought my home. I moved everything in only to realize it was too far from work to commute.. So I moved everything out 5 months later. Decided to rent it out till i figured out what to do...all I did was pay that mortgage down even to this day..10 yrs later. After a few years my mortgage was at a more comfortable amount so i moved in and transferred jobs. Now i can semi retire to almost fully retire anytime I want once I sell the home. 10 yr goal reached. * Buy your primary residence. Rent it out or perhaps the basement. Pay it down. Watch it appreciate.

Can you believe I’ve been listening to this wonderful man since the late 80’s? It’s been that long..and my life, a tremendous struggle of disappointment, setbacks, rejection...but I can tell you for a fact that what Les Brown preaches is 100% true & accurate. That you must never give up and cave in to the critics and cynics of life. They are the losers...they already gave up, don’t you give up. Yessss. Absolutely.

I have crohns and have had cancer, les browns videos are incredible I am now cancer survivor and crohns is in remission I'm on no medication for my crohns. I listen to motivation videos every day, they bring me positive and optimism. Videos like this have power and change your mind set. Incredible man. Him and Tom bilyeu are just superb.

This is why people who believe in themselves become greater than anybody or anything that they couldn’t have imagined in their lifetime!!!!! Words have powers and Can will change anybody,anything if one believes in themselves in this world!!!

This spoke to me. I broke the first few minutes when he talked about loss. Oh I cried. You spoke to my heart. This was for me a mother of 6 who fell... I fell and been trying to get up. My father was murdered my mother overdosed and my best friend died. Back 2 back n I wouldn't wish it on anyone your right. Right after that I ended up in jail for something I didn't do for 34days I sat on maximum security because of a lie. Due to this I lost my house while in jail my kids were put out due to a program housing plan we were in. I lost it all and then got out and live in a hotel with my babies. I work a dead-end job with small pay barely get by.. so I broke.. oh god I broke divorced from my high school sweetheart abandon me and our kids. I fought for my sister son because she is getting high so he adds on a our 6th but godddd I love my kids. I LOVE MY KIDS. I JUST WISH I KNEW WHAT TO DO NEXT TO GET US BETTER. BECAUSE THEY DESERVE THE WORLD.. IM HUNGRY. I WANT MORE. AFTER 2 YEARS OF COURT THEY DISMISSED THE CASE I SAT IN JAIL FOR.. I FEEL LIKE I LOST EVERYTHING I HAVE NO FAMILY NO HOME JUST 6KIDS THAT DESERVE MORE... AS A CHILD ABUSED AND NEGLECTED MISTREATED AND TRYING TO BREAK GENERATIONAL CURSES I ASK THAT U PRAY FOR ME. AND KEEP SPEAKING TO ME. GODDD BLESS 🙌 🙏 ✨️ YOU

It took me seventeen years for a 40 year old like me to land my dream job, and did everything exactly as Mr. Brown suggested. My heart broke in many pieces several times in life, and now I'm sitting on top of the world I'm still YOUNG, READY and HUNGRY

I still come back here ever so often to keep me going I can hear Les Browns voice in my ear every time i feel like quitting, I promise you all I will thank him PUBLICLY when I make it. Recently i found myself too comfortable i don't read, i don't watch nothing motivational, i found myself lacking in certain things. I told myself as of today i will listen and watch things that are motivational to change my life, I'm only 20 years old and i have daughter which i don't want her to end up like me. I am going to change my life so hers can be better. Which is start listening to things like these and think about positivity

Respiratory Therapy program starting in September. I will become successful!!!

Im a respiratory assistant, and if thats what you want to become then come up with a plan and a schedule and stick to it and study like you will die in a week and you will be successful. Take care of yourself and remember we only go as far as we think we can, so keep pushing until you reach your dream.
