No, that‘s not true. I feel free to say what I think and don‘t fear to lose my job. However, there are really double standards how muslims and jews are judged. I am Swiss and live close to the german border. I consider myself somehow marxist leaning but also with some "conservative" quirks (I am a married heterosexual, motorbike rider, history nerd, gun collector and recreational shooter for example). At the same time I play in a band with some german dudes. As much as they pretend to be "cosmopolitan", "anti racist" and take pride in being "globetrotters with an open heart to other ways of life" they also repeatedly reveal themselves to be just shallow, provincial group thinkers with no ability to self reflect. I know, that stereotype can be found anywhere (my country included) but I still think there's a different quality about german self understanding. It is very much like the Lady described it: it's like some strange kind of competition of who's better in beeing a "good person". Just like "patriotism" once was a thing a German had to excell in in order to look down on anybody else now it's "humanism", "liberalism", "democracy", "anti-semitism" by definition of the common orthodoxy. And since it's all about "being better" it doesn't really count what those ideologies ACTUALLY mean as long as you are with the "in" crowd. Again - I know that exists just about anywhere - but the difference to the German mainstream is that somehow they truly believe in it. They somehow just don't get it.

Well said. The same has happened in Scandinavia and we see the consequences of uncritical conformity and the lack of self-reflection as being the main causes leading the country towards decline. Despite being the dogs of Americans, we still have people who are against the whole neocon agenda. It seems the neocon agenda has greater roots in Germany, which makes sense considering that they are the second larger provider of military services and weapons to Israel. What is terrifying is seeing the biggest western countries lose all integrity in terms of freedom of speech, rights, and democracy. How deep is the Israeli/zionist elites involved in European politics, is the question-for it is incredible to see the display of power in mainstream news and social media. We are in a time where intelligence is frowned upon. Nobody respects intelligence anymore. They respect obedience and conformity.

​@@AlOfNorway I second that. It is an issue across Europe, depending on the country to a lesser or greater extent. I live in the UK, it is the same here. Repressive attitudes to free speech, inability to accept other people's points of view, unable to engage with new ideas, digital censorship, general censorship. It is only democratic by name, because of being able to vote once every four or five years. It has two parties, that more or less has the same worldview, so you are not allowed or able to take the political or geopolitical discourse outside what the two main parties agree to. We even had the infiltration of the Zionist into the opposition party in the UK, the Labour Party. Many people including Jewish people were expelled from the party under the guise of anti semitism, where in reality, except for minor and rare cases, they expelled them for opposing Israel on Palestine. Most that were expelled were the very left wing of the party, they were ones with ideas of expanding the political discourse outside of what is normally allowed for. By expelling them they now have a Pro Israeli policy and also a very limited domestic political agenda. Therefore not allowing for real change. The governing party is also a neo conservative party, which is actually called the Conservative Party. So both opposition and government have essentially the same political and economic ideas, with very slight differences. For someone like me, I don't have anyone serious I can vote for.

I was in Berlin in 2018 visiting a friend and went on a organised tour of the city and the entire tour was about the Jewish oppression. The tour lasted an hour, and the only other subject mentioned concerning Berlin was the end of the Berlin Wall, the remains of which we visited. I remember getting off the coach and saying to another British tourist that it was so depressing and of course it can't be forgotten, but without doubt 80% was about Germany in the 1930/40s. I told my German friend about it who said she wonders when the Germans are going to be allowed to not forget but forgiven for the Holocaust, especially those born way after WW2.

I'm gonna inject this into the conversation. The American Intelligence Military Industrial Complex is unfortunately the most powerful driver of Policy around the world. It only cares about 3 things: Profits, American Hegemony, and the Petrol Dollar, Netenyahu has actually shot himself in the foot by being such a loose cannon. Within the decade you'll see an exodus from Israel of those who can afford it. Leaving the remaining Jews Palestinians and Christians with the necessity of an inclusive one state solution.
