I had cancer many years ago with 6 months chemo. During treatment, I was persuaded to go out for dinner once, felt ok at the beginning of the evening but a couple of hours later, had to leave abruptly and spent the next couple of days in bed. Didnt go out again fir the whole time. These idiots need to understand that cancer and chemo is different for every person, they need to shut their stupid mouths and leave her to get well. So pleased to see her, she and the entire family looked absolutely gorgeous.

My only sister passed from ovarian cancer, it’s a tough journey to be caring for a patient with cancer. We traveled the world on her good weeks and endured her disease for 10 years. I pray the Princess recovers 100% and will be able to return to public life and be a beacon of hope for all cancer patients.

Catherine wasn’t born royal, but she was born to be Royal.

If I were William/Catherine - I would never let Harry or his kids around my kids. Why would I -- so they can hear how Daddy never loved Mommy; how the family is cursed; how they sold Harry out in the press and are "racists", or maybe just about Dad's dick? Why would I put my kids around any of that negativity? (Whether from Harry's mouth -- or his kids -- it doesn't matter.) You're not going to permit it. So....H/M's kids (where ever they are)...will they ever be allowed to meet their cousins? Probably not.

Neil Sean said yesterday that Charles went to see her personally earlier this week and asked her to come and said he really wanted her there ONLY if she felt like it. Prince William and Prince Charles talked about it first. The BEST PARTis he said King Charles and Catherine talk on the phone at least once EVERY DAY, sometimes three times a day. I thought everyone might like to know that. It warmed my heart!!❤

The Royals on the balcony showed us in brilliant colour just how important they are to each other. They chatted with each other, smiled at each other, showed affection for each other. The King showed so much attention to Catherine it is obvious he cares for her very much. Sophie and Queen Camilla also seem to get on famously. There was no pretence, no fake emotions, no disharmony on the balcony. Beautiful!!

I've seen a few of those. But most seem to realize that, since the whole world has now seen Catherine, the argument that she was AI/body double only makes them sound delusional. What I'm seeing instead is "She never had cancer! She still has her hair!" Or "She never had cancer! She looked too glamorous!" In other words, they've given up on "she's unalive" and are coalescing around "she took a long vacation."

This rumour was already circulating as soon as Catherine appeared. The pushback was quick and they were asked to put up or shut up. Suddenly, these nasty excuses for human beings (the user names and language used made me think they were not bots) disappeared as quickly as they appeared. Catherine proved the old adage: living well is the best revenge. I hope this causes the vicious and insidious gossips to crawl back under the pond scum from whence they came. As for Princess Legsakimbo, her attempt to distract the attention back to her landed like a damp squib. I wish for Catherine’s continued recovery from this terrible disease, whose treatment is not only physically but mentally grueling, and if that means we don’t see for a while, that’s okay. Good things come to those who wait. It behooves us all to continue to support her and her families’ decisions and allow her to return only when she’s feeling herself.

Beautifully written Kim! I totally agree with you, and I couldn’t have said it better. Catherine, Princess of Wales showed tremendous courage today. I’ve taken care of family and friends who were undergoing chemotherapy. I’ve been with them on good days when they felt good and wanted to go some place special. Feel good, having a good time, fine one minute and then they go pale and then they would vomit. Decades before Amazon and those collapsable barf bags. I kept gallon size ziplock bags in my purse for those moments. I have to say I was a little concerned for George and Charlotte today. They weren’t as bright and smiley as they normally are, but I’m sure they were concerned for their mom on her first big appearance. Continued prayers for HMTK, Catherine, Princess of Wales, may they have a complete and speedy recovery. I hope they felt uplifted by the adoring crowds. 🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧

my father was a cardio thoracic surgeon, A lot of his patients had cancer, my father died of cancer, so did my grandmother and my sister. So I have seen many cases of cancer. Heck the man who does our gardening has cancer and is undergoing chemo. Chemo destroys your immune system, IT IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT that the patient keeps away from the general public while undergoing chemo. It also is really really tiring. Chris my gardener says that after a session he just wants to lie down - my dad was the same, he needed to lie down and rest after chemo. HRH is a very slim young woman she needs to be left alone to recover. As for Prince William, I have met him, he is not the sort of man who would beat any woman. He is intelligent, very empathetic and very caring.

I was explaining these trash comments on social media to my husband. He was appalled, too. He suggested, "There is no way you can reason with people like that. Just write, 'seek help' and leave it there. " They need to be committed. **he said tell those animals. "I don't know where Kate is, but here is Princess Catherine!"

Hats off to Catherine to make an appearance at this stage of recovery. She was simply perfection. Love her, and her beautiful family. They do such admirable work.

I’m currently going through chemotherapy following my own, major abdominal surgery. All I know is my own experience and it’s brutal. The treatment takes a lot out of me and I feel that I have to smile. I can’t fathom having the world be so cruel at this difficult time. Compassionate people are fewer than once were (or pretended). Let’s show more kindness to all.

Dear River, I was at Trooping the Colour this morning, and I can confirm it was a joyous and solemn celebration altogether. The King and Queen seemed deeply moved by the outpouring of love they were receiving from the crowds. The Princess of Wales’ smile lit the whole of the Mall as the rain was pouring hard. At last, the sun shone as the Royal Family made its appearance on the palace balcony, accompanied by a cheering ocean of people. A day to remember indeed!

While on my honeymoon in 1999, we took a tour of London. I was totally surprised when we were told to go stand in a certain spot and that we would see something really special. The Queen came rolling by in her carriage, dressed in Canary yellow, with the rest of her family on horseback. I will never forget that special event. I had never heard of Trooping the Color until that day. Much love to all those in the UK 🇬🇧🇺🇸

Until you get more Chemo treatment and then you feel bad again. It really is a total roller coaster and it’s bad for you going through it but it’s also bad for your close family members and friends and I have to applaud them too as it’s so hard for everyone.x

Lived in England for a few years many years ago,and love the Royal Family. The late Queens dedication to duty was astounding. Many prayers for health and healing for King Charles and Princess Catherine, and their families for strength to help them on this journey. I couldn’t listen to today’s show River, and I adore your shows, but I just cannot listen to the vitriol towards Princess Catherine and family. She epitomizes grace, beauty, kindness, fortitude and compassion. I watched the lovely pictures silently and it was a pleasure.

Catherine is beautiful and carries herself with such elegance and grace.

She had people dancing in the street in the UK and US alike with just the site of her beauty.

Yes, she's not going to let her abusive husband push her out! They are not a happy couple, and the older kids didn't look happy either. Something was off. William didn't look her way. Look at the footage. She chatted with the king and looked towards her husband, and he looked straight ahead. Normally, Sophie was very chatty with Kate, but she was ignored. She patted Williams back and no affection towards Kate. This is a divided family.

Chemo knocked the stuffing out of me, even a year later, I was still recovering. I’m now cancer free after two years but I still haven’t returned to my precancer levels of energy. Katherine, the Princess of Wales, is an amazing person, to appear in public mid treatment as it takes a huge amount of energy. God bless her and keep her healthy and strong ❤❤❤

Princess Catherine looked absolutely regal, beautiful, graceful and elegant. The children were impeccably dressed, prince William was thoroughly splendid and handsome, King Charles and Queen Camilla were extremely classy and majestic, and Lady Louise was beautiful alongwith the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, who were elegantly dressed. It was as i expected, as ive experienced all my life growing up in the Kingdom and seeing these landmark celebrations as a child, and now as an older person who absolutely appreciates British heritage and traditions. American from California is here. I woke up to watch the Trooping of the Colora. The parade was fabulous. Something like 1000 aoldiers, over 200 horses. The two glass carriages. Who does it better no one. I had a gasp, l held my breath when Catherine Princess of Wales showed with her babies🩷👑🩷. Wowo. Yes, the King Charles with his Queen, perfection.💙👑👑🇦🇨💙. A vision in aqua 🩵 I adore that colour. It truly is magical! I thought the stripe on Catherine's bow and the crown of her hat were navy rather than black. But I loved it. All of it. Her photo and message on Friday, leaning against a tree that wasn't photoshopped in after the fact. She is the personification of the willow, strong and graceful. Beautiful. She was magnificent and I am glad she felt well enough to attend. Seeing her on the balcony, between her two protectors, the King and Prince William, was a tonic. I'm sure she will have been buoyed by the love of the cheering crowds who braved the miserable weather to support her, and by the many millions who tuned in across the world. Long live Catherine and long live the King!

Princess Catherine looked very beautiful today. She showed warmth to her children especially Charlotte. The RF seems very close as a family.

People are bizarre. It's only been about 6 months since Katherine's cancer was found. She has been blessed to have had cancer that was still hidden within her body, found due to a planned surgery. They told us she had major abdominal surgery. That takes 6-8 weeks (count nearly 2 months!) to recover from. Next, she had to start preventative chemo. So she's only in her first 4th or 5th month. Chemo is brutal. If she wants to stay home and save her energy more power to her. I spent my life working in Critical Care and have seen many people going through these tough regiments.

When Princess Catherine picked up Charlotte's hair and let it fall through her hands I sensed that it is normal in the Wales house for love to be shown to the whole family in little gestures. Wishing the Princess and the King a full return to health. Princess Catherine needs more time to heal.

It really is lovely to watch parents who are so loving towards their children. I bet they are also fairly strict, but I know my daughter was happy with me being strict as she knew what was expected of her.

She looked absolutely ethereal. I thought that she looked healthier than she had since last summer. Continued prayers for health and happiness of King Charles and Princess Catherine. It was wonderful to see Wales children’s healthy, happy, and utterly themselves. I loved Prince Louis’ cheeky dance during the trooping.

My dad and sister have been battling different cancers for ten years. Chemotherapy and radiotherapy ravages the body both inside and out. It also sits in the back of the mind and threatens to re visit under a different guise. My dad and sister wring every last drop out of life. However, it can exhaust them beyond the telling of it. So, HRH Catherine Princess of Wales will no doubt be exhausted today and, quite possibly, for the next several days. I have so much respect for how she put duty first, despite it probably being incredibly hard for her to do so. THAT is what future Queens are made of. ❤

I watched my daughters in law go through breast cancer, double mastectomy, infections chemo and radiation. I totally get where Beautiful Catherine is at. Watched my father die from cancer too. She is brave, beautiful, and so true to herself. God save the King, bless William and Catherine. As for the Harkles, there is a special place in hell for all the lies and manipulation they have stirred up.

I found Meghan's handling of photos of her children so offensive that I no longer click on these stories. The last one showed Meghan's bum (in old-looking jeans) and the back of Lili's head and one of her legs. Seriously? I think Meghan is saying "up urs" to anyone who is interested in her children--so at this point, I am no longer playing this game. Since she is using them as some kind of "teaser" material, I don't want to reinforce her treating them in this manner. If you want to keep them private, do so. Quit treating your kids like they are so special that everyone is just salivating over seeing them. You (allegedly) gave birth. Wahoo! So has half the planet. Aside from Michael Jackson (who weirdly put a towel over his baby's head while he was dangling him over a balcony), I don't recall anyone doing this with their children. Beautiful show today, River. I watched Trooping the Colour on my 75 inch TV here in America in the comfort of my own home, all ni e and dry. Felt so sorry for all those who had to be out in that wind and rain, it looked positively miserable out there at times! And I noticed His Majesty had a bit of the sniffles, too. Here's hoping he doesn't have a setback. What can be said about Princess Catherine that hasn't been already said? She looks thinner but otherwise glowing. And she seemed genuinely happy to be there. Pray for her complete cure. And for her family to give her the best, most loving care. ❤️

I was so inexplicably happy to see Catherine at Trooping the Color today. I thought she looked beautiful, peaceful, and as always, attentive to her children and husband. I was also struck, now that Prince George is maturing, how much he looks like the late Queen's father, George VI. Princess Catherine should take however long she needs. Whether be a year or more. As an American, I have to say, my husband and I wait every year for the Trooping of the Colors. While we appreciate our original Founders (we're New Englanders....enough said) we also admire the Royal Family. To see the POW looking so lovely, was an especially remarkable moment in today's ceremonies. For the Patriots that fought for our freedom from the UK, we still firmly and enthusiastically say, "Thank you." but in respect of a strong ally we say God Save the King. and God Save the Princess of Wales. May her recovery be swift. We appreciate their traditions as much as we appreciate our Founders and all those to fought to make the US a free nation. In the end, we are allies, so we respect all. As a Canadian, I appreciate your interest in our Royal Family. I have an interest in your country, travelled there when younger, studied American Lit in university , appreciated many artists, leaders, athletes etc. I live in Nova Scotia. Good luck down there….enough said.

Beautifully said! I could not agree more. America is British at its roots and we should always carry a fondness and reverence for Britain for that reason alone. Not to mention all the great gifts Britain has given the world, from the Arthurian legends to Jane Austen to The Beatles to afternoon tea. Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was a bulwark of timeless grace, and I still miss her. To everyone here from the UK: Meghan and Harry are no more popular here than they are in your side of the pond. Most of us find them revoltingly spoiled and disrespectful. Most of us are rooting for Princess Catherine, and the RF as a whole, against all the abuse hurled at them by the "Sussex Squad" and its leader. 🇺🇲🇬🇧

I was brought to happy tears upon seeing the beautiful Princess of Wales today. The sun wasn't needed in London today, as the Princess shone brighter, and warmed the hearts of all of us. Even those of us across the pond. Thank you River for all you do to protect the Royal family against the trolls that try without success to disparage the Royal family. ❤

How nice to see the Royal Family united on this special occasion. It was particularly lovely to see Catherine and her family looking so utterly happy together… fantastic body language. I hope that Catherine rests up now, she looked as if she was thoroughly enjoying the event, but it must have taken it out of both her and the King. Hope she continues to rest up now so she can fully recover in her own time, naturally. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
