I was a supporter of the brf until the queen passed, and maybe I should take that back to when Diana died. What’s really the point of having a few tortured souls in carriages. I think the aristocracy should quit hiding behind a few public figures, let alone whatever goes into the machinations of maintaining the perfection of the facade. And i don’t think it’s good anymore to force a family to be the shield elites hide behind. At least with an elected first family they can retire after a few years. I know several real cancer patients. Expecting honest, realistic people to go along with whatever’s happening was a bridge too far. Just call it whatever it really is. Security concerns, needed rest, cosmetic,it’s fine we’d understand. And I don’t like how MM and H get away with what they do as a weird kind of reverse psychology. They need to clean it up and quit treating the public like fools. Disown them for their disrespect rather than using them as a collective punching bag. Hate this, love this? Harry was never a great chap, he isn't now, and divorcing Megs won't make him suddenly become a decent chap, with integrity, a moral compass and a desire to do good in the world with his position and show true compassion and empathy. It's not in his nature. Harry & Megs are each other's karma, and I hope they stay together forever.

He may be an arrogant boor but he was a true hero during the Falklands War saving lives as a helicopter pilot unlike the Living Legend of Aviation who killed 25 chess pieces on his XBox in Afghanistan. It sometimes worries me that the Wales family fly together- especially after the remark that Meghan allegedly made that she was one plane crash away from being queen. He is a true gentleman and understands the meaning of royalty and respect. Obviously he must have seen that she had potential to improve as he married her, and I think there is hope for her to become a useful member of the Royal Family in the "fullness of time". Eugenie not so much!

Harry could have saved himself a lot of grief if he had learnt from Edward's mistakes.

There is also a history of scheming mistresses and wily wives, and Meghan Markle could be categorised as one of those, except that she is not strategically wise and neither is she capable of making the masses love her, so she has made herself irrelevant in every way except being married to a prince. As was the case with past spares and their wives, it will not end well for the Harkles. Harry is too far down the line of succession now to ever be king, and his B actress wife has proved herself to be a piece of trash whose moment of fame is on life support. Edward and Wallace sabotaged themselves spectacularly and we’re seeing history repeat itself.

The continued character assas$ination of Wallis is sad. She made a mistake and paid for it the rest of her life. She tried numerous times to flee and Edward stalked her. He outright told Ernest that he was going to marry Wallis and divorce was inevitable. The tables were turned this time around with MM's obsession with the RF.

People who’ve really studied this part of history in-depth know that Edward abdicated not for love but because his strong ties with the nazis (c/o Wallis) were slowly getting exposed. I believe he felt pressure from Parliament to abdicate and made him save face by allowing him to say that it was all for his love and desire to marry an American divorcée which at that time meant having to give up one’s Royal position. Not really a romantic story but more of a front story.

I've never disliked public figures so much as I do the Markles. I started off loving them, stood with other joyful people at the wedding, but then the Markles' masks came down...

The truth is poor George the 6th had to not only worry about a German invasion where his family would have been most likely been executed, but he also had to worry about his crazy brother the former King who was always stirring up trouble. Winston Churchill finally parked Edward in the Bahamas with Wallis because it was thought he couldn’t do too much damage there. Maybe that’s where they can stick Harry there after he gets divorced.

The Duke of Windsor has another resemblance to Harry: King Edward did not ultimately abdicate because of Wallis. He was maneuvered out by Parliament, who was terrified by his combination of Nazi sympathies and carelessness about his private papers in a time when war looked imminent. They thought he was a terrible king and they wanted him gone. Refusing to let him marry Wallis, when they knew he was obsessed with her, was the easiest way to get rid of him. In Harry's case, he left on his own steam, but from everything he's said he wanted to leave for plenty of reasons before Meghan ever entered the picture. Again, the woman who is blamed for the situation only happened to be the catalyst. The reality was that both royal men primarily departed for reasons that had nothing to do with the lady.

Harry and Meghan were forced out. I believe that once the pregnancy situation was made aware of, along with other problems, they were given a deal they couldn't refuse.

@@mariarevell4836 In both cases, the woman was the final trigger for their departure, but not the primary cause of it. If the Government couldn't get rid of King Edward by refusing to let him marry Wallis, then they would have either found some other way to get rid of him, or they would have shut him out... de facto prevented him from having access to any important information. They knew they simply couldn't allow him to be a king with full monarchial rights and responsibilities... he was far too reckless at a time when recklessness could easily lead to national catastrophe. In Harry's case, they effectively did what they might have had to do with Edward if Wallis hadn't been there: they shut him out. Didn't let him have a significant part in anything; and didn't invite him to do much, or anything difficult, in the way of royal duties. Didn't trust him. That was pretty easy to do due to his second-born status, but it certainly made him resentful. And a resentful mind is easy to persuade. First Meghan tried to persuade him to take a bigger role, because she fancied herself in a higher role. Then when she couldn't get a role quite as high as she wanted, she turned around and encouraged him to leave altogether... which he'd already wanted to do for years anyway.

Princess Catherine is as close to perfect as you can get. She is without equal. Rachel is, something that you would scrape off the bottom of your shoe. Just telling the truth, in my opinion.😊

“Allegedly” 🙄 the whole Nigerian trip started at the previous Invictus Games when the Nigerian representative there (Germany?) invited H&M to visit because that country wanted to host the IG in the future. Why is Invictus not shutting these 2 grifters down?!?

Forgive me in advance, because I know some people will disagree with me…I find Megain far more evil than Wallace was. No matter the conflicting accounts, I think on a whole, the British Empire dodged a bullet!

Hitler assigned Wallis, while on their visit, the title of HRH which was denied her in Britain. The Duke was pissed that the Monarch denied Wallis this titled so was ecstatic Hitler had everyone call her HRH!😳

Hitler knew Wallis wore the pants and that it was she he had to negotiate with not her puppy dog beside her.... calling her HRH was Hitlers way of instantly letting Wallis know that he knew she was the boss and commanded all in her and her puppy dog Edward's lives.

I too am concerned with their non royal tours, they did prove what arrogant amateurs they are. I see them being easily entrapped "touring" countries they have no business doing so. What happened to Invictus?

The couple lost me long before the “Once Upon A Spare” said he worried about “William and Kate’s” children. Why was he concerned about their mental health while his children remain invisible as he gads about the Commonwealth with Nacho playing Polo? I read The Traitor King months ago. The similarities are stunning. It's as if they sat and read the book together, and then said - hold my beer, I can do worse

All the Markle had to do was play a part, just like being in Suits. Do what you are told, dress how you should, pay attention to what is going on. Travel all over the world, expenses paid. Cut a few ribbons, etc. She could have easily upstaged Catherine, Princess of Wales. She would be in a castle and had everything she wanted, even a billionaire hubby. If not Harry, another one. But now, she has shown how toxic she is, how much of a diva she is, and is "too old" to snag another.

Traitor King is a good, well researched book. It is very sad the comparisons one can draw. However, when it came to it, Wallis did not want to marry Edward, but felt she had to, after all the fuss.

Both Wallis and Ernest Simpson were social climbers and were thrilled to bits to be included in the then Prince of Wales’ (later King) inner social circle. Wallis had expected David to tire of her and to be cast aside. I think she would have married him if she could be Queen even through a morganatic marriage. This would only be possible if the British Establishment, starting with King George V and Queen Mary, were prepared to accept her. After the scandal broke, she had to flee the country and even urged the new King not to abdicate because she didn’t want the whole debacle to be laid at her feet. Yes, she did not want to marry the ex-King but had no choice.

The abdication debacle was already laid at her feet and she did not want his suicide to be added to it. David was obsessed with her and had threatened to kill himself if she left him. The only way his advisers could persuade him to let Wallis leave the country after the scandal broke was to convince him that her life was in danger. It was her fellow American friend, Thelma Furness, who told her to look after her little man as she had to return to the USA due to a family crisis. The then POW had many mistresses and flings, almost all married women.

At least Edward had some integrity by abdicating and not saying a word publicly against his family. If only his great-great nephew had the same integrity and "abdicated" not only his titles but his position in the Line of Succession.

Sadly, Neil meeagains is so totally consumed with jealousy and hatred for Princess Catherine that IMO, she is pulling every string possible to undermine anything/everything Princess Catherine does. meeagains is the sole reason Princess Catherine’s photos were attacked, with the assistance of her sugars. Duchess Sophie, to meeagains way of thinking, is just not important enough to raise a fuss about. Sophie just doesn’t have the power Princess Catherine has!

But Meghan is scared of Duchess Sophie. Remember the look she got from Sophie on their last Royal event before they left. She was wearing a Kermit the frog dress. Sophie looked at her and she cowered. Also, it’s funny how Sophie was the one that had to ride with her on the car toQEII funeral. I think it was deliberate. Sophie has to keep her in line. Ha ha.

@@AnnelynPaz-fy7po No wonder the lovely Sophie gave her "a look" - the green outfit showed contempt at Westminster Abbey's annual Commonwealth Service where tradition has it that everyone wears a hue of red, white or blue as a mark of respect for our Union Flag which, on occasion, hangs alongside all Commonwealth flags. Some might find that ludicrous but if you look at royal females on foreign (even national) visits, they try to respect each country by wearing, say, a brooch (maple leaf in Canada), a hat (Diana's hat in Japan), the late Queen (white evening gown with lace shamrocks in Northern Ireland). Harry's wife makes a grave mistake if she ignores Sophie who has garnered considerable respect with her quiet attitude.

It was a fascinating read because I saw so many parallels between the two couples-like history was truly repeating itself. Should warn H&M that they’ll have a bitter, empty union where they die alone in exile….Thank you again for doing the research and presenting FACTS and stating rumour or opinion where needed. So much TRUST is created because of that! 👏👏👏

Love or hate her, Wallis and her marriage to Edward are such a fascinating subject.

The Duke and Duchess of Windsor were up against the Queen Mother, who blamed them for her husband’s early death plus Queen Mary who detested Wallis. I don’t think Harry is facing the same steel backbones EXCEPT HIS BROTHER. He’s taking a lot for granted thinking ‘all’s forgiven’ when HE decides. William will never accept his traitorous brother.

Harold’s Trust Income will be taxed by HMRC .The UK and USA have a Tax Agreement. However , Harold is liable for Tax on all worldwide income , thus the Delaware entities and utilising Dodgy Doris to receive funds and hold assets . He’s a fool … always has been !
