I was just there today and picked up and looked at some of the same pieces you did! Cool. That fabulous desk is still there.

You can fix the discoloration on your bowl with 40 cream peroxide for hair. Use a paint brush or Qtip to apply it to the discolored area, put the bowl in a clear plastic bag(keeps it wet) and place it in bright sunshine. The amount of time varies depending on the amount of direct sunlight it gets. Could take a couple hours to a couple days. I use this method to fix discolored vintage plastic toys and electronics

Today I found THREE BEAUTIFUL OLD BIG YELLOW WARE BOWLS>. At the nicer antique shop! Modern is LOVELY, but for us that were thrilled by moving to New England years ago and finding really really old things, to USE.....to be able to purchase more makes me happy. I just pay for the primitive really old stuff, with NEWER MODERN stuff I thrift! :) Thrifting lets me, get the items of my dreams for ME. The prices are down, but, my yellow ware bowls are well loved in my kitchen cabinets!

5:11I had that ancient Egyptian chest book when I was a kid. (Middle bottom shelf.) It was so cool. It came with rubber stamps so you could write hieroglyphics and even came with supplies to make a necklace with your own protection charm. It locked too. It was awesome sauce!

The lidded piece at 7:21 is hand painted Bulgarian pottery. That specific piece is called a gyuveche (pronounced give-o-shay, means family meal) dish. I love mine!!

I bought a round table with a leaf and 4 chairs on Saturday. Love it. So excited. It is oak. Price was great there on the table. Not much other stuff. But that’s ok. Love my table

So I'm taking my lunch here at work and you come across the blue swan. We have one exactly like that up here above Pirates of the Caribbean in the 21 Royal Residence in the master bath. I had to go look at it just to make sure. I love when you find things that are familiar to me.

The dish staining can be removed by coating it with a wet paste of cream of tartar and hydrogen peroxide. Put it on, let it sit 20-30 minutes, then scrub with a soft toothbrush. Repeat until stains are totally gone. It works.

i have used baking soda and peroxide with the same results also works on burnt on greese on cookie sheets

At approximately 2:20 there is a small bisque colored trinket box, with flowers on lid. I have that exact thing!! It was given to me by a student, many years ago and for that reason, I love it! I remember he was SO proud of his gift to me!! Sweet memories!!

I agree that the shoes are pincushions. It could be one for Mother & one for daughter or for two separate type of pins. Depending on the economic status of the owner it could be dressmakers pins and lace work a much finer pin. I collect pincushions but mine are mostly those belonging to a lower $ status and have fabric other than a velvet. More $$ would also have a stropping thimble while others would sharpen pins & needles on a cup or plate bottom.
