In the 1950s there was an epidemic of razor crime in Scotland, possibly U.K. wide. In Scotland it was cured by the Sheriff courts passing all those of carrying or being involved in razor crime to the High Court where stiffer sentences could be passed. Seven years in jail became the norm and razor crime reduced.

2 parent families are the solution. Culture has alot to play in this as well

Agreed. Nearly 4 million children in the UK are without a father. Most knife crime is being committed by boys or young men. They need a father figure to teach them how to be a good man in this world, and to bring them discipline

Your right two parent families are the answer. There has been and continues to be an underground movement working to destroy our former culture which was successful.

@@donaldpaterson5827rose tinted glasses. Crime is as low as it’s ever been. Where there’s poverty, there’s crime. Investment is needed in poverty stricken areas for them to improve.

No…it’s not unfortunately as Drug dealers - especially if you live on a housing estate target children in 2 parent families wearing nice school uniforms…. for the very same reason you believe this is the solution.

Skinner needs our full support… and should get recognition I hope he’s given a OBE/MBE for his service and deeds to vulnerable children He’s right about mayor khan… the politicians want society to crumble so they can inflict more control… this is ultimately leading towards a digitization of money and microchipping everyone

Tommy Robinson and his ilk are the ones who need to educate themselves on all of the above. Where’s the poverty, there’s crime, always has been, invest in poverty stricken areas, improve schools, give kids opportunities, that’s how things get better.

Let everyone carry... thugs will think twice when even granny is carrying. There is no way to stop it completely so prevention is better than the cure. Ive been carrying one for over 2 decades and never once threatened or used it unless ive been forced to defend myself or others.

As usual, talking about 'knife crime' like it's 1985. Still not prepared to talk about the 'gangsta' culture of the people doing it today. The demographic of the main perpetrators. Until there is an honest debate, don't expect any change.

A Word Should Be Enough For The Wise: The pen is mightier than the sword Today we cannot tell the difference between Child and Adult They all talk and sound the same Violence begets violence Be it gun or knife or bear knuggle affair Growing up in London I made sure I passed each and every exam paper The system tried to deny me however i persisted I attained a Higher National Diploma to attain my degree Why did i not give up The system being extremely harsh to my kind I am not a coward and fought my way through the streets of Kilburn London Yes I did knock out men 6 feet tall I fought men with knives and guns I however would go home and cry hating life and the card the system dealt me I know for sure that it was not Gods will I finally got out through education I am of every background I came from a nuclear family I then lost my father a medical doctor I also lost my mother moving to England to live with my cousins I was fortunate coming from Africa I had morale values embedded in me I thus did not need continuous adult supervision. The Gun or Knife is not responsible It is the person with the knife or gun Be it the police or civilian England used to be a strong christian nation Today i can count in my hands how many people attend church in England Children grow up without fear of anything today I am an not an advocate of fear however i mean conscience Juvenile correction centres are more like a center for violent progression The graduate from Knife to gun crimes There is no centre for morale correction or rehabilitation in England This is to say that there hasn't been any replacement for religion or christianity The question or challenge is how to refurbish our morale convictions Growing single parenting does not help Football culture does not promote morals and this is the missing gap How can football help I believe football to be the next best thing in England to religion. I rather belong to a football club than a gang My club also having the right capacity put in place to help single mothers The youths i guess will be more comfortable talking to a coach about their social issues The coach can then assist I however know that nothing in this life is capable of replacing a good family structure ie Mum and Dad I however also believe that something is better than nothing like your club coach I am not a politician however am part of this society with first hand experience of the youth dilema syndrome. Sincerely and loving from Ejike my real name not Sam as I lied to them living on the streets
