Off the 1000s of podcasts I've listened to this is one of best! He speaks so much truth, and as a parent of young teenage kids I will be advising them to listen to this. Some of stories were horrific, and some had me in fits of laughter. Keep up the great work Shaun, and please keep a eye on Lee Murrays release as that could be potentially the greatest podcast made.

I think that's bollocks mate. If a mp gets caught noncing or w/e they aren't going jail anyway. I dont agree with the sentences being so lax, but if you kill someone you may only get 12 years. So that's lax for the crime. In general sentences are lax in the UK. The government don't need to follow the laws so why would they set guidelines for the public so if they get caught, they follow those guidelines? It's irrelevant

Back in 1979 I was on remand in Lewes and celled up for 9 months with a nice guy who was up for 'burglary'. Got on with him ok and was sorry to see him go when he went for trial. Later on a screw came into my cell and said 'I see your mate got what he deserved'. He got 7 years. I exclaimed 'For burglary? Really?!' 'No, not burglary but for the attempted rape of an 80 year old woman!' Turns out the screws knew his case but because of limited space in nonce wing they took their chances on putting him in general population with a warning not to say whay he was in for. From that day on I always insisted in seeing any other cell mates case notes!

As you, I have been saying for a long time that the UK is on a downward slide and life and humanity has no value any more. I had a friend who was an enforcer for a well known London gang in the 60s and they had a code that respected women and children and a life was not taken easily. Keep up the good work. Respect.

What an interesting and watchable podcast and what an interesting story from Tony. You have such a natural and easy going interview style Shaun and know when to ask the right questions. He has a likeable nature and who is probably a very effective educator for our troubled youth finding their way in the adult world. There was once was an unspoken code, certain lines weren't crossed, you didn't kill people or carry a weapon. Nowadays there is no code, drugs have seen to that. Spice is such a nasty drug, it's been around since 2016 so we really have no idea of it's long term effects will be on the heavy users, but seeing some of the kids I've seen who use it will probably go to an early grave. Nonces deserve what they get and there is no sympathy for their type of behaviour which ruins lives so I'm 100% with Tony on what he said. Two wrongs don't make a right but for a cruel torturing an innocent child or baby is inexcusable. However, even though we should castrate convicted offenders, castration does not take away their desire, that emotion starts in the brain and they should be lobotomise instead. The prison systems therapies and treatments don't work, they are wasting their time, only a cut to the brain will suffice. It's quite shocking to learn that if a paedophile moves into a street where children and the families live the police will not tell the parents. I'd like to see Megan's Law rolled out across the globe, paedo's need hunting down and neutralising for everybodies sake. Good to hear that TG goes around to different schools giving talks, taking youngsters on prison visits also works quite well and has a positive effect on their impressionable minds and helps to break an inevitable cycle back inside.

Once again Shaun Attwood leading the way on KZread, I have been an avid listener since your early subs were in there 100’s and now at nearly half a million, you can see why the growth has been as fast rising as it is, another fantastic guest, in this series of “ true crime” I thought Tony had given a great account of himself. Clear, concise and extremely articulated, with loads of humility and humour. If you want to hear an upfront version of what’s going on in the streets and prisons , pin your ears back, listen to him and hear this mans story. Keep up the great work lads in and out of schools. The message to our young people has to be carried and conveyed on a daily basis in a manner of reality, ie this is what will happen to you if you keep on a path of carnage and destruction and you will end up behind bars!! We need to try and establish that old school British value of “respect” back in our young people for them to understand what’s “ right or wrong” - thoroughly enjoyed this podcast, “ Shaun you should welcome Tony back on as a panel discussion with Wild man & Chet “ now this would make for a very funny and interesting viewing “ 👍

Everyone has a story to tell but it’s how you tell it and this dude tells the most harrowing stories so well it’s like Roald Dahl’s Prison Stories. Funny and humble but with a message.
