I know how you feel Lisette I woke up feeling pretty Zonked out this morning from overdoing it yesterday if you could get a hold of a reverse osmosis filter system you can cut your work in half when you make that maple syrup like a mini version of the commercial one that they use that will remove up to 60% of the water from the sap and you can drink the water maybe save yourself trip to the water hole

Wowzers you ended up with a good haul. Now, I much search for maple cream lol. All I could think was "oooooooo I bet that would be great on sourdough too!" 🤣 Man I do wish we had Maples here! I'd love to try doing this. Glad you got the stove figured out. Looking forward to what you create with the sugar shack! Have a great rest of your week, Lisette!

Suggestion: You can buy silicone stir sticks that will mount into a battery-operated drill. Although the stirrers are intended for resins, they are 100% food safe, easy to clean and heat proof. You can use them to mix food. They are about 200 mm long and have what looks like a propeller on the end, and a hex shaft to go into your drill. Saves a lot of arm muscle...
