▶ Pouring Medium formula: Today I am using Owatrol mixed with water as my pouring medium. The ratio is 1:3 paint/pouring medium. I have a video that shows you how I mix my paints using medium here: • Fluid Acrylic Pouring ...
▶ Color Palette:
Amsterdam: Lamp Black and Titanium White for Ring Pour. Titanium white and Australian Floetrol for the swipe. The range of red, yellow and orange colors are all from Amsterdam.
▶ Hair dryer: Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting

What a gorgeous piece, Mark, although I must say that I really liked the corner that you decided to push over the edge. The red lacings are priceless and there are so many other beautiful details. After stretched out the ring pour, I was asking myself if it would be a good idea to move a marble over it before adding the swipe colours... that may be pretty, too. Anyway, this is another gorgeous piece of yours and it's always fun watching you 💖🖒

Mark did the floetrol cause the cella or sis you ad silicone oil? I don't think its oil because you didn't mention that. Unbelievable results. Stunning

Hi Mark. I am a newbie and I really find you easy to understand and follow . Do you pour directly onto the canvas, or has it got white paint on it already. Also is there anything special mixed with the white & black for the ring pour?

Thank you Lesley. All my videos have a description box and I add some details in there so hope that helps you too. The canvas is already triple primed and ready to use so no base coat on this one. The white and black (and all Color’s) are mixed with a pouring medium (Floetrol/Owatrol) to help with the flow. For some creations like Dutch Pour I just use paint and water. Ratios are all added in the description box which I hope you find useful. And I hope you’re having fun with pouring 🤩👍🏻

I like it only with 3 colors over the ring pour, more than the first one! I would do with 2 ring pours black and white, though :D I have the impression that the first try with rainbow colors seems to have a thicker consistency...or the canvas was smaller ?!

Hi Mark! I am so glad you decided to go with these colors! The red into orange and the orange lacing over the yellow.. ugh.. SO pretty! The 1st side that you tilted over with the swipe... I KNOW that edge has to be so cool (with the orange & yellow lacing bit) if most of it didn't pull off. I think the orange over the yellow might be my favorite part even though I had thought the red was going to be and had initially rooted for it.🧡💛 As you were reaching your last corner I was saying "C'mon. You're good.👍 Keey going. Almost there.🤏 Okay now good!✋" So, I helped ya tilt again and we did good.😅 In all seriousness though, it is a BEAUTIFUL creation my friend! I love it!🤩 I love the lacing of the colors together and love this idea you've had of doing it over a ring pour!🖤🤍 I was thinking about a ribbon pour completely straight across the canvas and then a swipe. That would look equally amazing!☺I suppose it would be a little hard to keep the ribbon pour completely straight though.🤔 Hmm, never know.. that might be a good thing!😉 I hope you are all well!
