    Having learned Portuguese in Brazil by immersion, the common grammar usage of these examples sounds more correct to me. It's hard to unlearn it! 😜

    Well I do have a friend who is Brazilian and he is a grammar nut!! But he never corrects me states I am doing well and understands me. After this review its confirmed I use both forms 😊😊

    The language purists appear to want to ossify grammar (and that probably includes most if not all languages) The truth is that language is always organic and evolving especially in "the street"
