it's ok to Cry

Ойындар

Today I play a little bit of my Minecraft world while talking about why it is so important to let yourself cry, crying is ok, it's how we heal, and I think the strongest men are the ones who cry it out.

02:50 is where it all hit me I have a dad but he wasn’t present for 16 years and Now thank to this video I feel like, even if it’s just a tiny bit, I’m alittle closer to Being able to let myself finally embrace my emotions again and cry. I just want to say thank you Really for this video I found it by accident but It’s actually one of the few accidents that I’m happy happened.Hearing you talk about how you were in touch with your emotions when you were little then grew to hide them and had your role model tell you it’s ok to cry and be emotional. Thank you again for sharing this with everyone. For so long I was told by my Mom and Siblings “I shouldnt be crying” or “Boys don’t cry” or “stop being a little girl/baby with your crying” For so long it hurt so much that I trusted them with being people who I could go to and express myself when I was a kid but now I feel empty like There’s nothing inside of me anymore. But this video and you repeating It’s ok constantly throughout the video was getting to me more and more you talked and I immediately got a huge wave of pressure in my chest, funnily enough that around when you had mentioned if you feel like crying just to let it happen and that Me crying doesn’t make me any less of a man. I know that wasn’t directed at me in specific but the amount of care and safety in your voice, having someone say that that it’s ok to feel my emotions. Having that be said to me for the first time in this comforting way really means a lot Thank you truly from the bottom of my heart

As a woman who is very much Stoic, reserved, and somewhat shy and quiet, I don’t express my emotions very much. I don’t cry unless something truly breaks me, which doesn’t happen very often. I wasn’t pressured to be like this, this is just the way I am wired. So trust me when I say this…Crying and showing emotions does not make you weak or any less of a man, it just means you’re human.

It’s strange- yesterday, I was playing MineCraft, and I was fixing a hole that had been blown in a project I was working on by a creeper, and, just after I finished, in true sitcom fashion, another creeper fell on top of me and destroyed it anew. It seems silly, but that small setback forced me put my phone down and cry for a long time. A lot has been happening in my life as of late, and I’m dealing with some serious internal conflict that’s just been festering inside of me, with no real outlet for me to channel it into. And, as ridiculous as it seems, crying over that creeper really did help. I felt a lot better having been able to release all that fear and tension I’d been holding in me for weeks, even if it was over something small. So it’s a beautiful coincidence that, while scrolling on KZread tonight, desperately trying to avoid my anxious thoughts, I come across a video, with a thumbnail of a creeper, and a simple, poignant caption; “it’s okay to cry.” I don’t know you, but I needed this. So thank you.

It is important to know how to open up. Personally, I don't feel the need to cry that much these times. There's nothing wrong with opening up, and IT IS IMPORTANT even to someone who is in charge of something. But also remember, as it is nothing wrong with crying, there's also nothing wrong with handling a situation without any tear on your face. Indeed, it is a virtue to pursue handling difficulties and do not feel need to cry. I learned that a hard way. We need a good balance between the two.

I don't know if anyone shares anything like me...... My parents told me that it's ok to cry as a kid. But they just forced me not to, whenever I felt like sharing my pain, they just replied with the worst possible, telling me to be a man and it all doesn't matter anymore. I know that's their way of surviving through pain, but after several attempts as a kid, I never shared any pain with them, up to this point not even a damn thing with them. I just say "all good" now, and they believe it, even tho it is not true. I don't show my weakness to anyone now, especially after a breakup that I never recovered from, I simply can't, even if I wanted to.

Transform that fire into relentless determination, rise above every challenge, and let your success be the undeniable proof of your strength. It requires more courage to express yourself in a world that attacks you for doing so than to hide your pain and let it fester. When you let your pain spread and get worse because you refuse to process it properly, you're not "being strong for your loved ones," you're actively hurting them by weakening your own resolve. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" only applies when you recover from the disease. But if you let it fester and refuse to heal, you don't get stronger. You just die slowly, and miserably. Don't let that happen, and don't advise others to let that happen.
