It's finally time for Arizona's summer wet season! These heavy summer rains bring out tons of insects, and also trigger nuptial flights for a majority of the ant species. The very first summer thunderstorms are often the most important, as the insects have been waiting for months through the dry season, and all come out at once when the first summer rain hits. Great video dude! Still trying to find some bigger queens here in Phoenix as well this monsoon season. Been pretty dry though other than one good storm.

I this video I used a 24" fluorescent and a small LED. Fluorescents are my favorite.
